Few bands make me get the feeling Rise Against does when i hear there music.

From the drums, guitar, and especially the lyrics, there music is very influential and quite amazing. Thus i think Rise Against is a great fit for rockband, and should have MUCH of there music on display.

Now we all know that Give It All is in RB2 ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8I4nNj1r4uQ ), and most people i know like the song, its a great song! but i think we could use tons more Rise Against!

Examples:

Rise Against- Survive

Blood Red, White, And Blue

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T1lQahb2O0A

The Good Left Undone

(new album) Savior (personal favorite off new album)

Long Forgotten Sons

Collapse (Post Amerika)

Historia Calamitatum

The Dirt Whispered

Injection

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CjObi8ESWjA

Bricks

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zdRc1Eo4fPk

***The reason i gave mostly there last 2 albums is because to me, the last 2 are by far the best. anyways, i hope others agree, others find a new band they like in Rise Against, and hopefully this will garner enough new and old rise against fans, so that we may all see the great band Rise Against in RockBand.

The songs you picked were meh, I would prefer songs off of Siren Song, and wouldn't really like anything off of their new album. Most songs on S&W would be good, but the ones that you picked from that album wouldnt be too good (bricks would be awesome though).

Hells yeah, bring on the Rise Against. If HMX wanted to release a more recent album (of ANY type), Siren Song of the Counter Culture would be sick as hell to play through.

I did like a few of their songs, then saw them live and they suck live. They lost my respect then. And they aren't influential.

I think they are one of those bands that over produce in the studio b/c live, every single song sounded the same, it was just horrible, thank God they weren't the reason I went to the concert. Billy Idol would be awesome as would his 70s punk band Generation X

yea there totally not influential. They just happen to be against suicide, animal cruelty, and are all members of PETA. AND YOU THINK THEY SUCK LIVE. They blew me away when I saw them live.

I made a thread asking for Rise Against yesterday!
Full album Appeal To Reason (minus Hero Of War) would be PERFECT.
Sufferer and the Witness would be great too.
I'm going to rise against the majority by saying the more recent stuff is better.

    3. "The Dirt Whispered"
    4. "Six Ways 'Til Sunday"
    5. "Drones"

I did not forget about my Rise Against! thread, i love them and many other bands, but this is the one band that has NO DLC in RB (yes i know about the song on RB2, silly). i just have not had time to post in awhile (between work and trying to game!) and YES i still Rockout to Rockband (even though my guitar is going to crap out again). I bought the new Bullet DLC and its awsome, im gonna get the Blacktide DLC probly next week.

Warbasse, who are you? you are awsome! We should play some time, you just made a great list of songs for DLC from rise against! Shiiichea! if u got XBL add me.

As for all, i have yet to see them live (i dont go to many shows at all, because noone i know likes the stuff i do, but tons of great bands have been to orlando, recently i think blessthefall and silverstein were here but i did not know, comeback kid and silverstein toured here last year, avenged sevenfold and coheed and cambria were here 2 years ago, and a few days ago on my birthday Killswitch engaged and disturbed and lacuna coil and chimera were here, damn i miss tons of good shows.)

some of you have shown me that there is people out there who like the kind of music i do, wish some of you were in orlando! KEEP WISHING FOR Rise Against! and other great bands for DLC! and maybe we will get them down the road. Say No to Sponge Bob, Say yes to Rise Against! (and eat a burger to piss them off!)

I think it's a bit ignorant to call Appeal and Sufferrer their "best albums by far". They're the most Mainstream by far (especially Appeal), but their old stuff is a different Genre almost entirely. Their Indie Punk albums were better than their mainstream hard rock albums. Siren Songs is actually my personal favorite, and it's a decent medium.

Agreed that Rise Against has some stuff that is kinda empowering...
Agreed that they would be good on Rockband...

Disagree that there newest stuff is the best... There newest album is there worst album... they sounded Uninspired, they released a bunch a songs that sounded like a lot of stuff already playing on the Radio( Radio music tends to be really boring... Sometimes good bands but usually bad song picks.) well just about all the songs on the cd sounds like radio songs... I like Rise against, but it is the older Rise Against back when there songs didn't all sound way to Similar...

All in all I like Rise Against... but please their newest album is way to Mainstream and I hope we never see tracks from it ever...

otherwise have a nice day! :D
