NOTES
~Green and bolded indicates songs that are now in Rock Band, since I made this updated list.
~All songs should be singles, with the exception of Dead and Bloated, and Rime of the Ancient Mariner
~Doesn't include Harmonix bands, though I assume bands like Bang Camaro, Freezepop, Anarchy Club, and Speck will be in the next RB installment
~I'll add more of these if I think of anything else, and I'll answer questions and comments anyone has
~This one's final. I'm not updating this again, and I'll probably only pull this back up if Harmonix releases any songs that are on this list. Like, I'll highlight them to signify that they're in the game
~Again, please only comment if you have something intelligent to say

    Wouldn't you know it? Mere hours after I added that SMB song, the leak came out. Pretty crazy timing. But, I'll change the color once it's officially announced

    Updated now. First song from my setlist has been confirmed for Rock Band, woohoo! I changed it up so songs that are in Rock Band after I had the list compiled will show up as such. Other than that, yay me! Hopefully some songs from my Future Classics setlist will show up in the future as well

    Since we have The Joker, replace it with Jet Airliner or Jungle Love. Great list, by the way. Some outstanding choices, although the 70's are very lacking.

    That's a good idea. I'll move the songs that are now in Rock Band and replace them with a new song from the band.

    So, now that The Joker has been confirmed to be in Rock Band, I've moved it down and added in Jet Airliner

    This is actually a pretty good list. I like that you didn't go for London Calling for the Clash which Everyone and their mother's puts on their lists. Nice.

    The actual songs aren't that bad, but I think that the gratuitous album cuts would alienate casual players. Overall, not bad, but I've seen a few that are better.

    Also, All I Want is now DLC (I had to take it off my in-progress list too.)

    Well in all honesty, Harmonix chose several deep cuts for RB1 (QotSA, The Police, Aerosmith, Nirvana, Fall Out Boy, etc), so of that I am not worried about. I had forgotten Offspring was on my list though, thanks for reminding me

    Not a bad list. Although there are a couple of ones I personally would think are better then others, such as Take The Power Back instead of Guerrilla Radio, Voices instead of Ten Thousand Fists, but still pretty solid! I'm sure this is the sort of direction Harmonix will be taking (Or at least SHOULD be taking).

    QotSA, Aerosmith, Nirvana's RB1 song, and Fall Out Boy were all singles. And the Next to You is one of the Police's signature songs.

    It's not that you have deep cuts that's wrong, it's that there are so many (relatively). It's really not a bad setlist.

    Well I said in the OP that every song on the setlist is a single except for Rime of the Ancient Mariner and Dead and Bloated

    Still a good setlist.

    Not bad at all...You may want to include several more though. Despite the fact that I have a strong distaste for most of the modern stuff that's out these days: I still had to have a balance between the mainstream and the good stuff. I doubt Harmonix wanted to narrow down the spectrum of Rock Band players by limiting the selection of songs. You know?

    I actually did a LOT of research for this, believe it or not. Any songs I was thinking about, I would check them all just to make sure they were singles, and any bands that I knew had to have a song on the game, I went to Wikipedia and checked all their songs and listened to all of them before making a decision on which one would be the best for Rock Band. It honestly took several days to compile this

    Hang on, you mean add more songs? I suppose I could try, but most people are typically limiting their setlists at 100 after I made this

    I'm doing some "research" on my setlist too, but is stopping at 100 the de facto limit? I'd think 115-120 would be more realistic. (Even if they run out of disc space, there could be more free DLC)

    I enjoy this list and is one of the best ones i've seen. Nice variety, and includes my favorite band, Wolfmother. I dont see that on most lists.

    Excellent list, that. Certainly one of the best I've seen so far.

    Two little corrections on the song titles: The Police song is called "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic", and the Alanis Morissette song is just "Hand in my Pocket". I also believe You Learn would be a better fit, but that's just my personal taste; on a similar note, I think Wake Me Up When September Ends is the weakest single from American Idiot. I'd pay good money to play Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Holiday or Jesus of Suburbia - but then again, that's what album DLC is for. ;)

    Keep up the good work. Oh, and I love your sig. Something to look forward to on Fridays or Saturdays besides, you know, DLC announcements.

    You are correct on both accounts, sir. I will change those. I'll also change SRV, I noticed I misspelled his name. That particular Green Day song is just kind of powerful to me though...probably because I spent many Saturday mornings in Elementary school singing to Army troops that were leaving their families when the war started - it was always very heart-wrenching. I don't know, I just really like the message in September Ends

    And thanks for the compliment! I enjoy making those apparently as much as people actually like them

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Bolded What's My Age Again? on the list. That makes three songs released now, yay!
    1. where are the Von Bondies?
    2. why no Hannah Montana?
