I used to be a fan back right when The Silence In Black and White came out. I wanted a nice variety of music and decided that song would work the best.

Lol, I didn't notice that, but yeah I did post in urz!!1!

And TheClashTheClashTheClash, I didn't want to pick one on London Calling (or the title track) because that is what everyone else had for The Clash. Plus, Atom Tan is a bangin' song.

Nice. Some serious effort and it shows.

However I do suggest Greasy Heart instead of White Rabbit. I mean I'll take it (hell I'll take ANY Jefferson Airplane) but I just think it'd give people more to do.

I think "Sweet Jane" would be much funner to play than "I'm Waiting For The Man."

uhh I don't think I'd buy that. there's not enough Rock, but I did like your choice of Boston and The Doors (thank you for that), and QUEEN

but I didn't see The Who, The Eagles, U2, Led Zeppelin (we them to win the war with Guitar hero) Heart, Foreigner, and I'd like to see Peter Frampton

    The Who is on there.

We do need The Doors and Queen, badly. The Eagles are signed on an exclusivity deal with Guitar Hero, at least for a little bit longer. So is Van Halen, I believe, which sucks. How long does Aerosmith's deal last, again?

Meanwhile, I can't think of anything by Heart or Foreigner that hasn't been in a Guitar Hero game that I care to play. Not that I care about duplication of those songs, it's just that Crazy on You and Barracuda pretty much sum it up for me.

U2 is a must-have at this point. Zeppelin, however, I doubt will ever give in to our requests, no matter how much we want them to (I'm sure the management is similarly inclined.) Hell, I'd take a cover version of Zeppelin at this point.

Oh, and the other three bands I think should be on here are AC/DC and Metallica. AC/DC is exclusive, and RB should continue to make good use of it. Otherwise, great list. Would certainly purchase.

EDIT: Does Metallica have an exclusivity deal because of Guitar Hero Metallica? Also, taking off Pink Floyd of "Bands that should be on here."

Mad Props on that setlist idea
Goldfinger, the Impression that i get and Matisyahu, and I believe in a thing called love? are you reading my mind and posting about it? ooooh Pink Floyd too =]
i would have went with a different Avenged Sevenfold Song I.E. Sidewinder or M.I.A.
i also would have went with a Different Modest Mouse song, Dashboard or The Good times are killing Me, most likely....

    More importantly:
I want someone besides me to say that they want this song more then anything in this game
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=32GZ3suxRn4
its called Slow Dancing in a Burning Room (Live in L.A.) By John Mayer and the solo's in it are amazing

I left bands off like Metallica and Led Zeppelin because they have little to no possibility of being in Rock Band, for different reasons though.

I really wanted to put on One or a song from Ride The Lightning, but they are Guitar Hero exclusive.

Good variety in the setlist, though there are a few things I would change.
Finally someone who has both Dropkick and flogging in their lists, although I would change the dropkick song to Walk Away or Dirty Glass, they are much better songs and a lot less known then Shippin Up to Boston, and atleast Walk Away would fit in very well in RB. With the Flogging song its a lot harder because they have so many great songs but probably would like to see Rebels of the Sacred Heart or Whats Left of The Flag, though anything from these bands would be awesome. Would like to see more Punk, like The Offsrping The Kids Aren't Alright, and The Vandals It's a Fact. Some Rancid and Misfits would also be nice. Although i'm not a big fan of metal, definately a Punker, you may also need to add a few more songs there like Trivum Like Light to Flies, and Pantera, how could u miss that? Also Symphony of Destruction would be a lot better for Megadeth in my opinion, these are just a few suggestions.

I wouldn't mind that, but they do have better songs, I am really just hoping that they start expanding the punk genre a bit more.

I think the inclusion of DKM, Flogging Molly, Fugazi, and NOFX is a good expansion into more modern true punk rock.

Yeah I really like this list, because you show that you have songs of all different genres, unlike most other lists who are biased towards one genre.

Love your choice of grunge songs.

Chiodos! Sweet. You're the only list to include them so far. They'd be awesome.

I like a lot of that classic rock on there. That Doors song is nice.

Around the World would be fun to play.

And Be Yourself. I like that song too.

The rest of the list is really good too, but I don't want to waste time saying why I like each individual song.

It does expand it better, I am just definately glad its not filled with tons of metal like almost all the other seltists are, I do like some metal but prefer a wider variety, its definatley a good list, there are some songs I wouldn't prefer, but thats expected, I never like all the songs on either of the games, just so happy they added The Joker for DLC, one less song I would want GHWT for hehe, though I would never. Now though since they have stated there will be no RB3 this year, i'm hoping atleast this St. Patties day we get some DKM and Floggin, though really don't wanna wait that long. They would be just so fun to play, and hopefully they would add more then one from each band.
