While I am a mere child compared to the glory of 'stasis (bows to 'stasis), I have a fair chunk.

Currently loaded into iTunes on my laptop (I have a good deal more I haven't put in iTunes yet):

    6918 Songs
    352 Artists
    ~756 albums
    21.9 Days (~525.6 hours)

How did everyone count their albums?

Also, if I didn't know that afterstasis listens to as music as he does, I would have called BS on his count.

Are you using iTunes? If so, open up the "browser" (view > show brower/cmd-B [apple], ctrl-B [windows]), and it will have info on albums and artists.

I have 13.3 days of music here at work... I think I have another 13 or so days of music at home. I actually try to streamline it often but I'm such a new music fiend.

hurray for music that I own, like and never remember to listen to!

Really? The average length of a song in your library is 53 seconds? You must have a lot of hardcore punk on your hard drive then.

Since June 5th, when I posted that, my collection has grown to:

    7461 Songs
    380 Artists
    ~801 albums
    23.6 Days

Not bad for slightly less than a month of growth. And as soon as I get more hard drive space, I'm gonna continue expanding.

I've only got 24 days, 56 minutes and 54 seconds. Too little if you ask me. That's also distributed among 8222 songs if you're wondering.

That averages to about 10:30 average song length.

Actually, I think that averages to about 4.2 minutes on average if my math is correct.

Personally, I currently have 18 days, 17 hours, 59 minutes, and 28 seconds of music spread out around 6187 songs. That's an average length of 4.3 minutes per song. All in all, I have 40.22 GB of music, and that's just what I have imported to iTunes!
