How many songs have no kick charted on Expert drums?

Just curious, I downloaded "Geraldine" recently and thought it was weird that the expert chart had no kick drum charted. The only other one I can think of is "29 Fingers". I think maybe "Silver" and "Polly" could also have no kick. Any others? Just thought it was weird, cuz "Geraldine" sounds like it should have kick.

Polly: Drum beats, yes. Bass pedal, no.

And Geraldine, to my knowledge, has no bass pedal because Glasvegas's drummer plays standing up.

Oh, awesome, good bit of trivia to know there, I'll have to look up a video of them. I like their album a lot.

I'm pretty certain it's just those 4, so far (specifically, 29 Fingers, Polly, Geraldine, and Master/Slave).

Not Silver, though... that has plenty of bass pedal.

Uh, yeah it does. There's a whole section where the full kit is played that wasn't on the Ten album.

I can not believe you actually posted this. The song lyrics even tell you.

The few notes it has are all bass-red-green... I'm pretty sure.

If you are looking to knock out the Quite a Kick or Quite a Kick Pro goal in Rock Band 3 for hitting 100% of the kick gems in a song on expert drums (or expert pro drums), then "Silver" by Pixies (legacy DLC) is your best bet. The song starts off with 3 kick gems and no other accompanying notes played every few seconds, followed by a yellow-green-kick note every few seconds until the song ends.

As for The Beatles: Rock Band, "Her Majesty" on the Abbey Road album (NOT available as a single) has only 1 yellow-green-kick note on expert played at the very beginning of the song. In addition, expert bass only has 1 note played at the very beginning of the song. There are no other notes to play in the entire song as it is composed of mostly guitar and vocals (Paul McCartney is seen in-game doing both guitar and vocal parts). Don't expect many players to have it since it is only available by downloading the Abbey Road album DLC pack.

Now for the reason why you are here... songs WITHOUT kick gems!

If you are going for the Flawless Drumming achievement in Rock Band and/or Rock Band 2, you'd be better off with "Polly" by Nirvana as it only has 2 notes (yellow and green) played every 30 seconds (or more) apart.

    Anyway...

Never thought about "Ride a White Swan", but then again... I don't play drums regularly.

The Pearl Jam one isn't a song I care for, but I can see how I could miss that given the fact that I never downloaded it until today (after seeing your post).

From Beatles DLC, "Within You Without You", which is actually played on a tabla, has no kick. Also, I think "Toast" is RBN 2.

I don't purchase very many Rock Band Network songs and I don't play drums (because I'm just not good at it), so I wouldn't have known.

    Anyway... it has been added.

Just curious: would the game award you the trophy for getting 100% of the kicks in those songs?
