I once said in another thread that if the Beatles game had their 20 worst songs I'd still get it. Their 20 worst are like another band's 20 average. I don't see Your Mother Should Know. It's just creepy with the old time music and words about my mother.

I'm not a big fan of Penny Lane. that song traumatized me in junior high.

On that list it's at 72 (out of 185)

I want you is one of my favourite songs and I'd love to play it.

You know my name is awesome and would be hilarious to play!

Some of the other ones rock too.

Every song they made was genious. Some of them have some less good parts, but the awesome parts weigh up to them. Must be John's idea, having heard of karma in India.

I'd buy it no matter what, honestly. Sure, I'd be disappointed that some of their better songs weren't on it, but it's The Beatles.. It'd still be worth it.

    I Want You
    Birthday
    What Goes On
    I Wanna Be Your Man
    The Word
    Day Tripper
    I Want To Tell You

don't belong in this game? Because I need to know where I need the plane tickets to break out my silver hammer.

Hee. Ok, my incomplete list of songs that would suck in this game. In order

    Revolution No 9
    She's Leaving Home
    Good Night
    Bungalow Bill
    Blue Jay Way
    Wild Honey Pie
    Flying
    Maggie Mae
    Maxwell's Silver Hammer
    Girl
    Piggies
    Cry Baby Cry
    Your Mother Should Know
    Octopus' Garden (ooops)
    Fixing A Hole

Here are the songs that, to me at least, just wouldn't make sense to put in the game. Disc or DLC:

    Wild Honey Pie
    Dig It
    Revolution 9

And that's it. Put it ALL in the game beyond that. I'd buy it. Those 3, to me at least, aren't songs. Just either short snippets of things that could have been songs, or something like Revolution 9 which is just, well whatever Revolution 9 is.

I highly question those guys' credibility. First "I Want You (She's So Heavy)" is on that list and then "Any Time At All" isn't?!

I'm totally serious about this. What person in their right mind DOESN'T want Birthday in the game? Leave aside the fact that it has one of the best guitar licks they ever did. Do you not have friends you play with? Do they not have birthdays? Do YOU not have a birthday? Nuff said!!

Ok,since no one has mentioned it yet allow me.

Mr. Moonlight- This Beatles song will never make it on TB-RB. If it does,it will be in a humorous sort of way probably depicting their earlier struggles.
This is absolutely the worst Recorded song ever released by them.
This is a well known fact by Beatle fanatics worldwide.

Yep ! Along with The Sheik Of Araby, they were supposed to be trying to impress the record company - what were they thinking ?!

And I Love Her is a great song. Nothing could turn me off, they could piss off alot of people by putting in "songs" like "Sgt. Pepper Inner Groove", lol.

I like most most if not all of the songs on that list. And the songs I would never want in this game are Dig It, Maggie Mae, Revolution 9, and Yellow Submarine. I know, I know. Yellow Submarine is "a classic" but it's a piece of garbage. Ringo always got the cruddy throw away songs. That is no exception. Plus it is sooooooo overplayed, I'm sick of it. Quite possibly the only Beatles song I cannot listen to.

I can't think of more than two or three songs by the Beatles that I just don't like. There are some of course... mostly they fall into two categories: overly sappy crap from Paul (She's Leaving Home, Honey Pie) or super-simplistic or annoying songs (Don't Pass Me By, One After 909). There's also a fair share of songs that would simply be impossible to track for RB (Revolution #9) or just not that interesting to play (Goodnight, Wild Honey Pie).

Frankly I think (and the Beatles have gone on record as agreeing) that there's a lot of stuff on the 'White Album' that could have been left out or made into a b-side if they hadn't all been ego-bombing at the time. It would have been better as a badass single album than as a double LP packed with half-finished song ideas like "Why Don't We Do It in the Road?".

Still, I don't think I could come up with a "worst of the Beatles" list though... it'd be really, really short. Even "Only A Northern Song" is kind of cool once you get past the crazy overdubs.
