Question about RBN Number 2292123

Anyway a quick question about the animation...things like charting has been asked many times but who does the animations for the songs. I mean not everyone has the facilities to have people lip-sync the songs proper or do the close ups for guitar solos and the likes.

Though not everyone notices the animations enough with note highways to focus on if they are done poorly or in a rush they will really ruin a song by shattering the illusion that your virtual band is actually playing the song.

If you want to learn the lighting and animation system, you can create them with the same detail as our own authors. If you don't want to bother, we will auto-generate them for you.

The lip-sync animations are generated based on a dry vocal track you include in Magma.

Now the auto-generation, will you look over it to make sure there aren't any aesthetic irregularities? Like showing the singer or drummer during a monster guitar solo, or like in RB1, when the singer would jump into the crowd and immediately appear back onstage

Are the animation tools available in this pack? Also would we be able to put in a light show or something in that vein instead of the band playing onstage?

What are the absolutely compulsory things to include in the charts then? Overdrive, in example: compulsory or autogenerated?

They must be to be tested alongside other staplemates for songs like star cutoffs...ie more overdrive to physically be able to gold star a song and the likes so these can be caught early and rectified during the reviewer feedback process.

Maybe HMX will do this but im not sure

Based on the fact that every song has to have the same lighting script to work with, what, 40ish stages (?) means that they'll be somewhat basic. Meaning I really doubt you'll be able to control individual lights and stuff. But you can get some decent stuff, check out Baba O'Reilly in one of the bigger arenas (not one of the small venues) to see what the lighting is capable of.

You have full control over the lighting sequences and fog if you intend to do it yourself. I'm sure Harmonix will have documentation on that as well as everything else pertaining to the Venue track.

    It is exciting. :D
