What are some of the weirdest or shocking lyrics you've heard in a song. I was listening to "Ragoo" by Kings of Leon and I caught something about "You caught me with my pants down" and I was really confused wondering what the song was about.

Pixies' Tame always gets me. The actual subject matter is so violent compared to the poppy feel.

Tame is many things, but poppy it isn't, and the lyrics aren't particularly violent either. Are you sure you don't mean Here Comes Your Man?

Yeah it's catchy, but hardly the most poppy Pixies song.

Words to make my mouth exercise

My dreams are all more basic and must be addressed
    They're young girl's dreams
True some tote a gun and shoot a lot, help them elect stars
    But I was just rude
Like the scary hairs are normal
    Sing me the proofs
    Delay proof
A family fool, but it's you to lie constant and inside me
But when I'm set in my things
    A calling stone
Oh I feel strong luck when bound young meets the ground
When them and I'm empty headed
See and saw bounce me back to you
    Will you

    -- "Fotzepolitik" by Cocteau Twins

The title is literally C*** Politics in German. Listening to the song myself, I always assumed it was about childhood sexual abuse. I could be very wrong though.

"Health food faggot" would get it for King Crimson if it wasn't apparently a British term for a vegetarian meatball.

Juvenile shock factor, but I've always loved this one:

I Kill Children - Dead Kennedys

    I kill children
I love to see them die
    I kill children
    And make their mamas cry
    Crush 'em under my car
    I wanna hear them scream
    Feed 'em poison candy
    To spoil their Halloween

That one always makes me chuckle. On a related note, here are the similarly shocking lyrics to Oingo Boingo's Little Girls:

I feel cold as a razor blade,
    Tight as a tourniquet,
    Dry as a funeral drum.

    Run to the bedroom,
In the suitcase on the left
    You'll find my favorite axe.
    Don't look so frightened
This is just a passing phase,
    One of my bad days.
Would you like to watch T.V.?
    Or get between the sheets?
I did not find this shocking at all.

Oh Comely tops that with the lines "Smelling of semen all under the garden" and "Doing her thing on your chest". The latter I'm assuming isn't what I'm thinking, but it is still weird.

Anything by this one...literally the most offensive **** I've ever heard. On a lighter note one that caught me offguard was actually a Green Day song off the new album. I was listening to it and my friends mom was in the room and all of a sudden this nice rift starts and then "IM NOT ****IN AROUND!!!"

when i got to the party, they gave me a forty
and i must've been thirsty cause i drank it so quickly

when i got to the bedroom there was somebody waiting
and it isn't my fault that the barbarian raped me

when i went to get tested i brought along my best friend,
melissa mahoney, who had once been molested

and she knew how to get there, she knew all the nurses.
they were all really friendly but the test came out positive

I've seen better days but i don't care
I just sent a letter in the mail

when i got my abortion, i brought along my boyfriend.
we got there an hour before the appointment.

and outside the building there were all these annoying
fundamentalist christians. we tried to ingore them

i've had better days but i don't care
oasis got my letter in the mail

when vacation was over, the word was all over
that i was a crack whore. melissa had told them

and so now were not talking, except we have tickets
to see blur in october and i think were still going

i've seen better days but i don't care
oh i just got a letter in the mail

    oasis sent a photograph
    its autographed and everything
    melissa's gonna wet herself
    i swear

    Best abortion song ever.

I've always thought the lyrics to this song were rather bizarre.

The line "peanut butter pudding surprise" in My Morning Jacket's "Highly Suspicious" has always seemed strange to me as well.

"Holiday in Cambodia" by Dead Kennedys.

I was shocked to hear a white guy say "N***ers" in a song.

"Art of Subconsious Illusion" by Avenged Sevenfold.

Pretty amusing to hear a line like "Punching through Jello" in a song about a serial killer.

    "All Black" by Good Charlotte

That lyrics in that song are freakin' hysterical. Best chorus ever!

"So What" by The Anti Nowhere League, covered by Metallica takes the cake for me.

I've even *censored* an old man's *censored*
    So what, so what
    And I've *censored* a sheep, I've *censored* a goat
I rammed my *censored* right down its throat
    So what, so what
