Serious Beatles Disorder

edited September 2009 in The Beatles: Rock Band
I think I have a problem, I love The Beatles more than anything. More than oxygen, my girlfriend, my parents...

John is my favorite...

Last week I wore 5 different Beatles shirts, one for each school day...

Wedensday is date night for me and my girl usually...

But I think I'd rather stay home and play The Beatles Rock Band and a little Rock Band 2 then go to her house where all they have is Guitar Hero 3, 80s, and Aerosmith.

Her therapist tells her not to go to my house....

Advice?

Her therapist is a person from Neversoft in disguise. It's The Beatles. She should definantly go to your house. Really think about. She has games that you've played many times. Yet, The Beatles Rock Band is a whole new experience. It's a no brainer

    This.

Would you rather make out with your girlfriend or The Beatles Rock Band.
Now we all know which one we would pick it's obvious.

Music is the one place we disagree.

Her favorites are Maroon 5 and Duran Duran.

    I have taste.

    Beatles and Floyd.

We only agree on like 3 Bowie songs and 4 Queen songs, and Michael Jackson

Dude. Don't diss Maroon 5. They're good at their genre... Just not good at rocking.

Also, you have no right to dictate what music taste really is.

Well, you are right, you are the one with better taste in music

Some people have to be more open.
You've played all of her Guitar Hero games, so why can't she go and play The Beatles Rock Band at your house.

Well, the game disc DOES have that hole in the middle, I'm sure my tounge would...

Nevermind, look at it's case, no curves, no love handles...

I'm all cool with Maroon 5, its just that every time I like one of their songs, she hates it.

Time to find a gf who is more Beatle-oriented. Can't spend the rest of your life with somebody who isn't going to enjoy RB with you, you know.

    But what about the Hofner?
    That has so many curves.
And don't even get me started about the drums.

I once made her listen to the who. She liked it, but kept arguing with me because she refused to believe that "Baba" and "Teenage Wasteland" weren't different songs

One time she was trying to tell me she heard a Beatles song she liked, but she doesn't listen to the lyrics of songs, so she tapped the melody to "She Loves You" on the table, and it took me 3 weeks to realize that was the song, and that she was terrible at tapping melodies.

    LMAO :p

Listen to all of the music that she wants you to hear for one day, then you can dress her up as your favorite Beatle and force her to play Beatles:Rock Band for 24 hours the next day. This plan is flawless.

She might improve with rhythm and this tapping if you get her to play the drums in Rock Band.

rather than the Overchart in GH3 that almost turned me off the whole concept of music games. I failed out of easy on Barracuda 5 times while playing with her on our secend date. Now I can nail the hard songs on medium in rock band and the first dozen or so on hard.

Thank god for Donkey Konga keeping me interested.

You have needs that the Beatles can not meet. Realize that.

Also, get into a new band, try asking around History of Rock for some good bands to get into.

She was visibly upset when I told her that I couldn't take her out one night because I had to buy a new needle for my record player so I could listen to The Beatles 67-70
