I love Californication, too; don't get me wrong. But RHCP's old stuff is clearly their best material.

    you don't like "Red Rabbits", "Turn On Me", "Spilt Needles", "Girl Sailor" or "A Comet Appears"?????!?!?!?!?!? :eek: !!!!!!! :eek:
    (i left out "Sea Legs" and "Black Waves" because those songs are good but not awesome)

    seriously i think i would rank the album like this:

Australia

Red Rabbits

Girl Sailor

A Comet Appears

Sleeping Lessons

Phantom Limb

Turn On Me

Spilt Needles

Sea Legs

Black Wave

Pam Berry
i absolutely love every track from Australia (my favorite song) to Spilt Needles and the bottom three are still good songs too

    why not? :rolleyes::

    Oh, Inverted World

New Slang

Know Your Onion!

Caring Is Creepy

Girl Inform Me

The Past And Pending

Girl On The Wing

One By One All Day

Weird Divide

Your Algebra

Pressed in a Book
Chutes Too Narrow

Gone For Good

Young Pilgrims

Turn A Square

So Says I

Kissing The Lipless

Fighting In A Sack

Saint Simon

Pink Bullets

Mine's Not A High Horse

Those To Come
by "up to", i mean "up to and including". i love "red rabbits".
    here's how i'd rate it:

Australia

Red Rabbits

Phantom Limb

Girl Sailor

A Comet Appears

Sleeping Lessons

Turn On Me

Spilt Needles

Black Wave

Sea Legs

Pam Berry
and while i'm at it, like you...

Caring is Creepy

Know Your Onion!

New Slang

One By One All Day

Girl On the Wing

    2. The Doors
    3. Morrison Hotel
    4. Waiting for the Sun
    5. The Soft Parade
    6. L.A. Woman

    Never understood why their s/t was considered so superior to everything else by them, and I've never understood why L.A. Woman is considered one of their essential albums. Also, what's so wrong with The Soft Parade that everyone hates it so much?

    yeah those 3 songs are the low points of the album

    ~~~~~~
    i also think that those 2 songs are the low point in that album as well
    why do you have Those To Come so high?! even higher than Gone For Good?! :eek:
    Relient K:
    1. MMHMM
    2. Two Lefts Don't Make A Right... But Three Do
    3. Forget And Not Slow Down
    4. The Birds And The B-Sides
    5. The Anatomy of the Thounge In Cheek
    6. Five Score And Seven Years Ago
    7. Relient K
    It was tough. Everything is so good (IMO)! MMHMM is definitely the best. Everything is sorta melded together, but their self-titled abum is last for sure.
    love "those to come". not sure why you had that (and "pink bullets"!) so low, though i could move up "gone for good" a few notches because it's a great song. [all in my opinion, of course.]
    also, while i think "your algebra" is a low point of the album, i still think it to be the most unique on the album and it definitely catches my interest. it's my inspiration for my last.fm name. xP
    ...of course, everything by the shins is amazing so ranking it low just means "not as amazing as other songs."
    I don't hate their older stuff... I just like some of their newer stuff better. Stadium Arcadium has really grown on me recently.
    And the Chili Peppers themselves (or atleast Flea and Anthony) didn't like their first album.
    Those were the 2 things I expected other fans of the band to say especially the first statement
    2. Flower Power
    3. Retropolis
    4. Back In The World Of Adventures
    7. Space Revolver
    2. The Light
    3. V
    4. The Kindness Of Strangers
    5. Beware Of Darkness
    6. Day For Night
    7. Feel Euphoria
    8. Spock's Beard
    9. Octane
    Morse era >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> D'Virgilio era (although still great)
    Death
    1. Symbolic
    2. Individual Thought Patterns
    3. The Sound Of Perseverance
    4. Spiritual Healing
    5. Human
    Fizzeler: Yeah, definitely disagree on the Flower Kings rankings, mainly because I'm a huge fan of The Sum Of No Evil. Don't have enough of an opinion on some of the albums to thoroughly rank them yet, however.
    Gowie: Definitely agreed on the RHCP stuff. Freaky Styley is, without question, one of their best.
