Tempo Mapping Problem

When I use the tab to transient and the Q shortcut, for the first few measures it works fine, but after a while it makes two tempo markers instead of one, and in places other than where I wanted them. What's going on here?

I was having a similar problem. I ended up starting at the begining and finding where the tempo markers started going wrong. I then deleted all of them in that area, (i may have deleted them from that point out since i wasn't too far into the song). Then i reinserted them and it worked. Also, if that doesn't work you can play the song and click "m" at the begining of every measure to add a marker (different than a tempo marker). Once you are done you can covert the "M" markers to "T" tempo markers. Hoep that helps.

How do you convert the M markers to T markers?
