Hey anyone who can answer this?

Does anyone know what the exact process of approval for songs appearing on the RBN is? Short of initial creation and peer review?

I've tried searching the forum and nothing has come up.

Get the rights/license to chart the song.

    Chart it.

    Submit to Playtest.

    Take feedback, incorporate changes.

Submit new version to Playtest, get more feedback. Iterate to satisfaction.

When feedback is all thumbs-up, promote to Peer Review.

Peer Reviewers do their thing. If everything is cool, 8 of them need to pass it. If there's a hard charting rule broken, or content restriction violated, a reviewer can fail it.

When the Peer Review is finally cool with 8 positive votes, it goes to "quarantine".

HMX checks the quarantined tracks, including screening for audio content, reading peer review feedback, and occasionally playing it themselves to verify cited problems.

Once HMX passes it, it goes to Approved.

Within 2-3 days, the download should hit the xbox.com store in the US, hopefully other countries not far behind.

When HMX gets enough tracks "saved up", they'll index them and push them out to the in-game store.

    You buy it.

    You rock out.

    You rate the song.

Where is this playtesting? Just curious as to how people know which tracks have hit playtesting by bands.
