For what it's worth, Y/M/D is much better for sorting purposes. :D
mm/dd/yyyy sorts just fine as long as the field is not formatted as text.

Probably 80 msp. Night on Bald Mountain is only 80 msp, and considering it's 9 minutes long and very famous, I think if any Fauxharmonic song were going to be 160 msp it would be the one.

Oh. Well then... I'd still expect other Fauxharmonic songs to be 80 msp unless we get some really long ones. Considering how short Flight of the Bumblebee is, I'd definitely expect it to be 80 msp.

The only thing I don't like there is if a song has multiple version it puts BOTH up there. Which could cause some problems as time goes on.
If you click the marketplace links, it says what date it was added. Just check before buying.

I decided to buy it without seeing a vid first and it is so freaking fun me and my little brother played it twice in a row!!!

the only problem is that its hard to go from classical music to "real" music

I consider it very brave that there are people on this forum willing to admit...nay, proclaim...that they are anxiously awaiting Creed songs. Bravo to your courage and devil-may-care attitude, even though you must know what the rest of us are thinking.
Is it the same thing I'm thinking when people ask for more death metal?

Welcome to diversity in musical tastes. May I present to you, RB DLC as an example.

Wow. As cool as the idea is, I just can't get behind these classic ones. They remind me too much of midis....

    edited May 2010
Yeh I downloaded the demo but was really disappointed at how midi it sounded! I should just find a free one in GHWT or GHM.

And what also disappointed me was that there were notes which you can clearly hear but aren't charted :(

Are there any chart listed (culturally popular) songs being thrown out soon?

Granted I will still preview and DL these tracks if I like them, but anything that will pop out at me?

BTW, great job again to those that keep this thread running and up to date

Midnight Ocelot - Rock Your Socks Off
Paul Henry Smith & The Fauxharmonic Orchestra – “Hungarian Dance No 5”

more Fauxharmonic = win........idc what anyone else says i think its awesome

    EDIT: 4 new songs actually

Alright! Hungarian Dances No 5. I've always loved that song. Just downloaded it, so I'll play it within the next hour.

Though Bald Mountain sounded very MIDI-like, this one sounds more normal (of course, they should sound MIDI-like since there are no real instruments, hence FAUXharmonic). I highly reccomend Hungarian Dances as it is full on win.

I think Creed, Seether, and Evanescence have songs that have been in and out of testing recently.

I think the reason that people think Night on Bald Mountain is MIDI-like is because the lead instrument seems to be a harpsichord which has a MIDI-like sound anyway. If you listen to the other instruments it sounds like a natural sounding orchestra.

    At least, that's my inference.

I believe the guitar is playing the violin at the start of the song, which people think sounds midi like. Either way, the rest of the instruments sounds traditionally orchestral. Most of the other ones have a more pure orchestra sound to them, like the Brahms and Beethoven.

The link on the right will be the most recent one. If the song has been officially released, you can always click the link to the song's page, and click the link to buy from there, as well.
