PLEASE stop saying "someone message *random band/person*" Just do it yourself. Go to their website and find their email address and message them! Thank you!

PLEASE READ: Just because a band is contacted dosn't mean you shouldn't message them. The more messages they get the more they notice that their fans want them in, BUT that dosn't mean you should contact the same band more then once, but please don't announce that you annouced that band if it's already on the list! Thank you!

I e-mailed Cloudkicker and Jex Thoth via MySpace but recieved no reply. Also, In This Moment, KMFDM, Marillion and Skindred should be cyan, they've been in RBN for quite some time. Nevermore should also be yellow, along with Freezepop I believe.

I know, right? Months and months ago now, way before RBN, Rob Thomas had a couple different interviews where he said he loved Rock Band, would love to have his stuff in there, never got contacted by Harmonix. I can only hope he's been informed about RBN by now

Edit: They're now in the RBN store.

I just got a reply from The Oufield's management and got an interesting response that I'm not really sure how to go about answering:
    _________________________________________________________________
    Hi Mike-

Thank you for your inquiry in regards to Rock Band and The Outfield. This would be an interesting conversation to have. With a track like 'Your Love' getting as much air play and attention as it did when it was in the charts and the building momentum of our new album, this could be an interesting platform to explore for both parties.

Do you have any performance analysis of comparable artist that have used the Rock Band Network platform?

I hope to hear from you soon to speak further. Thanks for your continued support of the band, it very much appreciated.

    Regards,

    Brent Bitner
    _________________________________________________________________

does anyone have any ideas on how to respond/any links I could send in my response?

    thanks

According to this thread on the Poets of the Fall forums, it looks like there's interest for some of their songs on the RBN.

A forum admin pops in a few posts down to inform people that the band are looking into it.

I'd be up for some Poets of the Fall. I'm playing through Alan Wake at the moment and, being a Remedy game, there's some PotF in there for good measure.

    Updates!!!

Bomb The Music Industry! has a song currently in testing, and Jeff, who's charting his own stuff, said he's also going to chart some songs for Asian Man Records.
Red Scare Records is interested, but that's about it. Any groups who would be interested in some great skate punk should probably be giving them a call.
Atom And His Package has moved on to the whole being an adult thing and his band days are behind him. Bummer.
Sam Williams (Down By Law, Pseudo Heroes) hasn't ever played the game but thinks the idea is pretty cool. So this is a very loose yellow if that.

I sent a myspace message to Four Year Strong a few months ago (pre-RBN release). It said they read it but I got no response back from them. You should totally put them on the list and maybe someone should try to mail them again.

Vinnie said that they are waiting to get the stems of their songs, and then they are going to move forward. They recently bought all of the rights to their albums, so it should be soon.

So, just a question about how label affiliation works.....Since Ferret Records has said they're interested, does that mean we could potentially get songs from Foxy Shazam's Introducing album in the future? Or does the fact that Foxy's with Warner now preclude their older stuff from appearing in the game? Anything from them would be amazing, and Introducing's my favorite of their three albums by far. Just wondering whether or not it's a possibility.

Getting "A Dangerous Man", "Yes Yes Yes", "Rocketeer" and "Red Cape Diver" would be pretty awesome.

I've emailed a few bands, although none of them have responded. They are: Adversary, Fair To Midland, Before the Dawn, Raunchy and Dead Letter Circus. It would be great if some authoring companies would contact them. They are some great bands that would be awesome in the game.

I've contacted Fueled By Ramen's PR Adam and apparently he has not gotten back any responses, it could be from his people, or the charting companies of whom I have emailed him their info (he doesn't quite say in the email). So PLEASE which ever charting group sees this snatch them up for us Less Than Jake, and Paramore fans. Thanks

Yeah, my avatar's the Wanna-Be Angel vinyl single sleeve (listening to it right now) :P I like the new album a lot as well, but Introducing is just the perfect sound for me. It's not all out like the Flamingo Trigger, but it's also not TOO poppy. Oh Lord is great though, sounds a bit like Queen.

OK i just had my hopes and dreams slashed having read that Less Than Jake were on RBN on to realise it was a cruel mistake.
I decided on the way into work today that i was going to start a thread/group to let LTJ know how much we want them in rock band, I'll get on it at the weekend.
FBR might not be the best route as i believe Vinnie is no longer a part of that label (i could be wrong) we might have more luck getting in touch through paper + plastik.
It would be great news if they do have all the rights to the albums, Less Than Jake the first band to have a discography in RB, this is my new life's purpose.
On a lighter note could they be holding out for the much anticipated horns peripherals?
