What are Rhythm Authors up to?

All the other authoring companies seem to be making threads and keeping us up to date, but I haven't heard anything from Rhythm Authors since their announcement that they had partnered with Sumerian Records. If there are any reps on here, can you give us a quick update? Any more artists from Sumerian in the pipeline? Are you working with any other labels? Any info you have would be great, because I've really enjoyed your work so far. :D

Easiest thing to do is look at the Songs page on the main website

    http://www.rhythmauthors.com/songs.php?&sort=status

From there you'll be able to see what songs are in the pipeline and the progress on them. As you can see, the rest of the Asking Alexandria tracks are to be released soon so you can look forward to those songs. Other than that, any announcements will come whenever something happens that needs announcing.

Glad to hear that you enjoy RA's work, and I hope my response answered your inquiry.

Also, check out the RA twitter

Yeah, onto RhythmAuthors conversation.. my friend is trying to get his band on through them and it keeps getting stuck each peer review. It's the hardest guitar song in Rock Band, no doubt.

I assume you're referring to Nihilanth, which is at 50% in peer review now and still has a week to go, so it has a shot at making it through sometime in the next week. If not, it'll probably make it through in another round or two. Plenty of songs take two or three rounds to make it through (even things that a lot of people are anticipating like Cheat on the Church or Asking Alexandria). It's a long song and I can imagine peer reviewing the expert guitar chart to be pretty difficult, so it's not surprising that it's moving kind of slowly.

With regards to rhythmauthors, it seems like right now they might just be focusing on getting out songs they've already announced. They've still got a lot of things that they've been planning for a while (many of the bands they announced early on were supposed to have multiple songs coming - I think Terrorhorse is supposed to get 6 songs and the second one recently went into playtest, and other bands that were supposed to get multiple songs still haven't had their second one). They might just be trying to avoid getting too far ahead of themselves. Anyway, their website (especially the song page) is the best place to see what they're doing. Sort the page by status and you can see which ones are in peer review and playtest.
