instantdeath999;3963805 said:My least favorites on Tim are the rockers, oddly enough; Lay It Down Clown and Dose of Thunder.
neckermanncj;3964065 said:There's actually no Let It Be on that list. sorry bro, in the circle that is mats fans I don't think its that good as everyone else does.I like 'I Will Dare' more than 'Answering Machine'
neckermanncj;3964065 said:get rid of those two songs, and pretend that Can't Hardly Wait actually made the cut for Tim then you've got my favorite album of all time.
neckermanncj;3964065 said:since we're on the topic, if anyone has a tumblr... follow my mats blog yall!
instantdeath999;3964105 said:Also, I noticed the lack of Seen Your Video on your list. That makes me sad.
TheCoolGuy;3964115 said:Doesn't exist. The forum doesn't allow cursing, even in URLs. Tinyurl it.
neckermanncj;3964136 said:just replace the ****'s with the F word
TheCoolGuy;3964144 said:That would require me to curse. I don't curse.Quite the predicament here...EDIT: Fixed.
TheRollingBones;3964257 said:Oh, and why do you all call them the Mats? Shouldn't it be Ments?
JukeBoxHero;3964228 said:I think what fails to get love when it comes to the Mats (while I absolutely adore Seen Your Video and Answering Machine, great, great songs) are the earlier tunes particularly ones like Go and Johnny Gonna Die. Those are great heart felt tunes that I never see fans acknowledge.
TheRollingBones;3964257 said:Sorry to disappoint you guyz, but I've never listened to a Replacements album. Never actually heard em at all outside of Alex Chilton from RB2 (loved it, by the way). So... where to start?Oh, and why do you all call them the Mats? Shouldn't it be Ments?
Hungryfreak;3963884 said:Yes rules, and anyone who disagrees gets the choke pear.
JukeBoxHero;3964010 said:Nah man, quite a few people around here are verse in Yes. Anyone who just listen to their two noticeable hits are missing out on a solid progressive rock band that can still hold their own forty years going live.
instantdeath999;3964292 said:I've never liked "The Mats". Just The Replacements for me.As for your question, all their albums are worth listening, so if you're up for it just go for discography. However, their early albums are much more hardcore punk than their later ones. Most people consider their "big three" to be Let it Be, Tim, and Pleased to Meet Me. I personally consider Tim to be their magnum opus, but it doesn't show their punk side nearly as well as Let it Be.

JukeBoxHero;3964314 said:Fizzeler:Yes have at least 6 hits if I remember right but Roundabout and Owner of the Lonely Heart are the ones most people will be most familiar with(followed by I've Seen All Good People).
MrFruitLord;3964396 said:I don't like the replacements.
