If anyone is interested we're currently looking for a sound mixer to join the team.

We've been doing it by taking turns on a song by song basis, but with the amount of songs we're starting to get in we're going to need someone that can focus on getting the songs mixed and ready for charting.

If anyone is interested just drop me a line at nlarimer@gmail.com

We all get paid on percentages of songs sold(and low percentages at that) so the pay isn't the greatest, but you'll get to work with some fantastic bands.

We're also always on the look out for charters. If you know how to chart bass, guitar, drums, vox then we can use you.

If you're interested in working with band like KMFDM, Powerman 5000, Union Underground, Onslaught, Ministry, Obituary, Protest the Hero, and dozens more, then just drop me a message and I can get you more details.

We're starting out with the entire Feathergun album.

Also if you want to request songs/bands you can go to our forums here :

http://www.thatauthoringgroup.com/forum/index.php?board=4.0
That is what I figured. Looking forward to it. Try to make "Omega" the first song after the stuff from Feathergun if you can. :)

Will have to check out the other bands you listed since I am only familiar with some by name.

I would imagine it would be from Killing Peace or even from their upcoming album.

Cool either way imo.

I'm not really a proper fan of many of those bands, but I know some of them will probably be epic in game (Gamma Bomb particularly...).

Also, this is just because you've managed to get those types of bands... I request Heathen.

It's off their upcoming album.

That's just for starters.

After that we're dipping into the back stuff.

If their upcoming album is half as good as Killing Peace I'll be beyond satisfied.

Yeah we're still working on all the site stuff.

We're cranking out two full tracks a week for the past four weeks, doing internal playtesting, and testing on the site.

So I'm thinking of cutting out sleep.

Forever :p

Seriously thanks for pointing it out and we'll get it taken care of...soon? :p

THE Chad Smith, awesome he's a great drummer. Well since you got the drummer for RHCP, maybe you could get some of there songs on th network:D, (that would be awesome if it happened)

That's what we're hoping for ;)

And Dragoon while I can neither confirm nor deny that we're working on that particular track, (some bands/labels want to handle all promotion on their end) whoever did do it did an awesome job.

Are you waiting until RBN 2.0 for the Chad Smith song since it prominently features keys?
• ThatAuthoringGroupThatAuthoringGroup Numero Uno Super **** Fanboy #1
edited September 2010
The label wants us to get it out now, so that means no keys unfortunately.

We'll be doing other songs from them and those will have the keys charted.

Warner. Chickenfoot is on an indie label though, and you could side promote with their new album coming out in 11. (I would enjoy "future in the past".)

We're proud to announce the second full length album that we'll be bringing from Devin Townsend : Addicted.

We'll begin working on this one after we're finished with Ziltiod, AND Addicted will feature all the new additions to RBN 2.0 including Keys, Pro Drums, and Vocal Harmonies.

You can listen to the Addicted album here if you're unfamiliar with it :

AHHHHHHHHHH! FREAKING SERIOUSLY?

God. I love you guys and I love Devin. This is amazing. I think I'm most looking foward to playing drums on that album - some fancy beats on there!

Are you still working with Underground Operations?

IF SO. Is it planned to have the bands from UO being charted with keys?

Yeah we're still working with them.

We haven't started working on their songs yet, so this far into the game anything with keys we get we'll hold off on (unless the label/band insists we go forward without it) charting them so we can have the full features of RBN 2.0.

and Cloudwolf this is just the start of us working with Devin.

It's just a question on which order we'll be getting albums from him ;)

2 Devin Townshend albums?! You guys are the best.

Also, I remember a while ago on twitter some of the dudes from Every Time I Die seemed pretty into getting their stuff on RBN. Is that going anywhere?

I sent some feelers out to the ETID back in August but never heard back.

It's possible another authoring group swooped them up, but I don't know at this point.

We'll be bringing Order of Voices "Reaching Out" to the RBN very soon. For those not familiar with the band here's a brief bio :

ORDER OF VOICES formed in 2009, with the sole aim to create some of the most ambitious music produced by a British alternative rock band in the last 10 years.

Their self titled debut album is an ambitious body of work that trades in soulful melody, mountain moving dynamics and an overall feeling of a band stretching the conventional song format into something more; something beautiful.

ORDER OF VOICES is a collective of talented, experienced musicians who between them have toured Europe and the UK extensively as well as released albums worldwide via other projects.

A lyric from the song ‘Don’t falter’ perfectly sums up the belief within the band and the determination to succeed:
“See the change and feel it coming, don’t falter now, Brace yourself and see it coming, don’t falter now…”
