OK, I've decided to start a thread dedicated to one of the item that usually has the most impact on your final score: at what point to all 4 players trigger their built-up Beatlemania bars. Technical playing skills aside, it's the most effective way to maximize your score. Since I'm not aware of anything like this anywhere else online (I've only seen it for the individual instruments), I'll start it with a few surefire paths on a handful of songs [NOTE: all releases are by all 4 band members unless otherwise indicated]:

the problem is with the drummer & the singer. There are times in a song when a singer cannot get a Star Power off at the same time as a drummer. Maybe because the drummer is about to deploy SP but the singer is still singing a long line, or in the case of Come Together, alot of times, the singer has continued lines, and cannot deploy there SP, even though it is the best time to use SP because of high volume of notes, or whatever. This always seems to be a problem. I think it is easier for the Guitar/Bass players to follow the lead of the drummer or Singer as far as when to use SP. If one of those two players use their SP, then the Guitarist & Bassist should also deploy theirs. The other problem is too many people just deploy it when they get it, instead of strategically using it. You need to get on w/people who all have the same goal.....high scores. And communicate well.

These are not surefire high scores...my band NC may have much different paths and we take 1st place on every song even over 360. Although you have the gist of it like on "Wait" and "Good Morning Good Morning" they all take some refinement.

Yes, Dozer, I'm aware that the drummer and vocalist cannot simply release their Beatlemania at any given time; these paths are more of a guideline/heads-up for those 2 instruments as to when to do so, and for the guitarist/bassist to then follow suit (I'm a vocalist myself). Obviously it's often not possible for all 4 instruments to deploy their SP at the exact same time.

And, yes, JacobT, there are alternate paths one can take and there's also the variable of how many notes you hit correctly while the SP is going (as well as how many harmony parts you have singing). Again, these are more to keep people from releasing it willy-nilly as many players still do. And for the record, my band DID get #1 on both "Mr. Kite" and "Helter Skelter" on PS3 with the above paths. And I'm ranked in the Top 35 on all the other above songs.

in Yellow Submarine, 3rd chorus, release it at the beginning of the repeat instead of at the start of the chorus. otherwise you'll waste some upcoming white notes, i have found.
