I should post the complete DLC list. I will work on that tonight. Until then, I will say the best selling song released in 2010 is Eric Cartman at 102 on the all time list, followed by the Lady Gaga pack at 183 (outselling all packs released in 2009 except for Breaking Benjamin), Bad Romance at 202, and Poker Face at 224. Based on the leaderboards data, it's likely that the combined sales of the pack and either song individually exceed the sales for Eric Cartman, but that can't be determined from the sales rankings.

The best selling song from 2010 which isn't related to Lady Gaga is Seven Nation Army at 268. (Excluding the free downloads, of course.)
Must have been the combined numbers. I do know that if you go by the play numbers, the Cartman version didn't sell nearly as well as the actual version. Though play numbers are inaccurate vs sell numbers for a whole host of reasons.

Thanks for the entire list :)

    Unsurprising debut.

But what is surprising is In the End being the highest standalone.

sigh....not surprising...but kinda sad, while LP is now at 674 the AWESOME T. Rex pack (which i cant recommend enough and everybody should get) is 3rd to last...anyway, its not surprising

I expect the Stone Sour pack to debut somewhere in the 800-900 region, Through Glass will be the highest at about 700-800ish, the other two will be in the 1000s.

I am surprised that the singles are as high as they are for Linkin Park. I would have guessed more would have bought the whole pack. "In The End" being the highest isn't a shock seeing how it has to be their biggest single.

I don't even like T. Rex that much. I can stand 20th Century Boy because it's kinda catchy, so it's nice that that is the disc offering.

I only picked up three singles because I am not a huge fan of the band and it wasn't worth the money to me to pick up the whole pack... but, I also didn't get "In the End", I don't really care for that song at all. I did pick up "Crawling", "Numb", and "What I've Done".

I actually thought it would have broken the 50% mark, but it just fell short. Great debut, good thing HMX doesn't listen to the people who fuss all the time on these message boards :)

Yep. Any pack that breaks the top 50% in its first week is destined to be a big seller.
And like others, I'm not the least bit surprised that the pack had a huge debut, and the vast majority of buyers went for the whole shebang instead of cherry-picking.

I'm not predicting big numbers for Stone Sour at all, though. Not even among the metalheads (who are actually *less* likely to pick this up than mainstream audiences).

I could see Stone Sour doing decent Slipknot vocalist and Rhythm Guitarist. Say You'll Haunt Me was a decent hit on rock radio latter last year (hitting 1 on Billboard Rock radio Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks) and Through Glass had equal or greater success in 06 with some play on the top 40 stations. In theory it'll do good.

I really wanted to like the T Rex pack but after listening to the songs I just had to admit that they aren't really very enjoyable to me and chose not to buy that pack after all. Looking at the sales I suppose I'm not alone in this.

...And this pack I bought because the Stooges are awesome. Needless to say, 1 minute into the first song in RB2 I realize these are just not going to be fun to play. On any instrument. But how anyone could believe a Stooges pack could ever sell very much at all is beyond me. I mean, the band hasn't ever sold that much and only really has a cult following. How could they sell well as a DLC?

It was replaced last year with a pack without Airbourne so all the sales prior to that are not counted.

I was gonna say the same thing. Maybe the fact that the pack only has two songs most people would really know and because of that the sales of the pack suffers.

Hautewerk 01 I think was a discount pack, and has been out for almost 2 years, vs the 6 months of The Vines.

As far as I remember two songs had really long guitar solos... so those were fun to play. Anyway as long as the music is great I'll buy the pack, it's not like Bob Marley or Johnny Cash were amazing on all instruments.

If I'm reading this correctly, Linkin Park has the best DLC Debut since RB3. Other than the free pack of course, which I guess we all paid for when we exported RB2.

Unless you didn't export and still got the pack for free.

Or never bought RB2 to begin with and still got the pack for free.
