I got Power Gig rise of the Six String (game only) for my Birthday. I've been playing it this weekend instead of Rock Band. I guess that is a Rock Band Epic Fail. :)

Gameplay isn't so hot, but I like the tracklist, and am beating the story mode for Achievements.
Enjoying the 100-point achievement for a simple FC?

^I'd say that's an epic win
Fail because it implies that there were multiple 2/3/4 star performances to get a 6 as the last digit.

My fail is grinding through basic bass and keys again on my secondary profile just to unlock dresses and skirts.

For me.... I was playing with 3 of my Online friends and we were FC "Band on the run"...

Just as we got to the end.....

RB3 crashed on all of us at the same time..... Grrrr...

(Note to Harmonix.....FIX THIS PROBLEM WITH RB3....FREAKIN ANNOYING!!! BESIDES THE VOX PROB)

That one isn't as easy as it sounds actually. I have a bunch of fairly easy achievements having beat the story mode (about an hour ago actually). This one is tougher. The game has perfect and good detection of hits. The 100 pt achievement is for fc with only Perfect hits. The timing window for perfect is tiny - I tend to play Rock Band on Expert on guitar (for all but the Hardest songs), and the best I've got on perfect is about 70% - and that is playing on the equivalent of hard/medium (it has 5 levels of skill difficulty).

Think about it as FCing with about half the normal Rock Band Timing Window. It seems like it's worth the 100.

A good hit seems somewhat larger than a Guitar Hero window.

Myself on vocals. Some people are just not born to sing, and that includes me =(

Being kicked out of a band because I pressed red faster than this other guy was pressing green to spam "Rehab." Seriously, he really must like the song.

Both that and the fact that it's the devil's number. :P

I could not play Caught in a Mosh on Expert Bass for some weird reason today. Usually, I would pass that song with flying colours, but today I barely was alive during most of the song, especially the main riff.

Expecting musical bliss from being able to download one of my favorite Paul McCartney songs ever, Maybe I'm Amazed, and happiness ensued, and then BAM! It just ends like that. The ending is cut off. The album version has a fade-out, his concert version has a fine ending, and this one just - if you've played it, you know why Maybe I'm Amazed is an epic failure.

It's actually the numbers of the beast. It and the devil are not one and the same. Iron Maiden's song is accurate.

You do realize that for many folks, that even passing them is not a fail?

My fail goes to how I'm viewing the website. Every other link shows lines upon lines of code. A refresh here and there does the job, but it seems to lag.

Fail is relative. Lunch fail doubly so.

Still have around 1000 songs with no score logged so im trying to play each song at least once before properly actually trying to get a decent score or at least my old obsession of collecting gold stars.

As such with such long sessions on the game recently fatigue and sore wrists has not done me justice a few times now but my utter epic fail of the week was playing My Own Worst Enemy by Lit and not only failing to get an FC which i did 99% of the times i played it before on RB2 but i didnt even get the gold star... it made me laugh and actually switch the game off as if you cant get a gold on a zero tier song you know youve had enough RB for the day.

Getting past the faster strum-section of killing moon on pro-bass only to get my FC ruined by a random mustang dropped note 30 seconds before the end. :(

Re-FCing Rainbow in the Dark on Expert Bass is a lot more difficult than it seems, especially when I managed to sightread FC it on Expert Bass and can somehow cannot repeat that performance.

5Gold stared (yay me) Need You Tonight on expert on both the keys and pro-key modes. ONLY song that I'm ever gonna be able to do this on too i bet.

If downloading Linkin Park doesn't count (I Kid), I FCed "In The End" and was in the "Top 25%". It was my sight read, but I didn't think my pathing was that bad.

My epic fail was when I tried vocals for the first time (friend game me their mic). I'm a huge NIN fan, downloaded all the songs as they came out, know them by heart. "I know every breath of these songs, I should be able to do ok on expert"
    FAIL
"Ok, well, I am a girl, so it's harder to get the low parts. I know every bit of them, just need help with range... I'll sing them on hard first..."
    FAIL
"SCREW YOU ROCK BAND I DON'T HAVE THE VOICE OF A 47 YEAR OLD MAN!!!!"
Passed on medium, and eventually on hard, but it still knocked me down a peg.

Played Steppin' Lightly by Gov't Mule on expert bass and missed about two notes near the end, messing up an FC. That song is about 8 minutes long. I believe I'm still #1 on the Xbox 360 Bass Leaderboard for it though!

Hardware fail, then site fail. My drums seized up on Roundabout. No-fail on Hard Pro, so the only worry was trying to open the battery door to turn off the drums in time to still 5-star. Then, the site tried to redirect me to the store.

And now I have a behemoth drumming marathon to look forward to. Twenty-three five-minute rock epics I just couldn't squeeze five stars out of. I'll be a puny little rock legend for a few more days.

Failed Antibodies... on Hard Bass. I know the Expert chart is really difficult to pass, but failing on Hard for me is pretty stupid. Proves that I really need more practice of that song.

Was all set to finish Expert Solid bass tonight...then working out turned into "getting my hair done", which won't be long enough for me to finish the goal. Damn.

Not sure if this really a fail, but I'm on a TDY to St. Louis for 3 weeks and I brought my Xbox and drumset with me. I have a real pedal with a KD-8 and stopped playing after 3 songs because I was afraid the bass pedal might get me kicked out of the hotel. :)

The game happily activating my Overdrive in the tambourine section during Solo Vox. Yeah, give the OD to those pigs on the instruments even though no one is playing.

The overdrive for vocals is the biggest fail in the game. Sucks the fun out of it.

Two fails, my microphone cutting out during the tambourine sections in 25 or 6 to 4 and Free Bird. I ended up getting 100% on both, but with a rubbish score. There is a light at the end of the tunnel though, two hard songs overall done on the way to Obsessive Compulsive.
