TheStuddz's Rock Band 4 Dream Setlist

While reading my setlist, you may have noticed that the 70's and '80s are overly represented (as is the classic rock genre), and that it is sorely lacking anything from the past 20 years. Due to my lack of variety, I will take requests in this thread's comments (one per band, and I also won't accept songs from bands that are already on this list) and republish a new, slighly more varied, RB4 setlist.

Here's a link to all of my dream DLC, to be released anytime; not necessarily after RB4: http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=219383&p=4382448#post4382448

    Needs moar 90's.

But anyways, I love a lot of your picks, good job. Would've preferred a different pick from Muse though.
Also, you win an internetz from me for including "Sings".

Edit: Requests? Something from Relient K, probably "Forgiven" or "Be My Escape".
Oh, and "Boys Are Back In Town" is already DLC.

Very nice setlist. Surprised that Genesis or Phil Collins has no love :( And I think Barracuda would be more of a guitar-god song than Crazy On You. Your choice for Simon & Garfunkel is very interesting...I'd think Mrs. Robinson would be the #1 choice since it's probably their most recognizable song (alongside The Boxer, Sounds of Silence, and Bridge Over Troubled Water) If this was the real setlist from RB4, I'd just die with happiness. Although Harmonix would likely have 100% more 00's songs and a lot less 60s/70s :(

In the 90's you could add November Rain by Guns N Roses.

Quick vote: If I were to add some Genesis, which song would be preferred: Invisible Touch or I Can't Dance? And to GAThrawn: all of the song choices you mentioned were part of my upcoming DLC list, but I'll switch them for you anyways. It's tough making everyone happy. :)

Yeah, same here. Violet Hill wouldn't have even been my first choice, but by looking at other dream setlists, as well as the Coldplay thread, I saw that many people wanted Violet Hill. I will be adding more Coldplay songs through my upcoming DLC list, which I will add when I have time. Whoa, I just realized this setlist will never become a real game, so it doesn't matter which Coldplay song I choose. Why am I doing this again?

I've added all requested songs (except Without Me - sorry exploder, but too many expletives) and will not accept any more, as I wanted to keep my list at about 95 songs. I didn't check all songs for inappropriate language, so if I've added any that do in fact contain some, let me know (one or two bad words is okay, because they can be bleeped, but I don't want the entire vocal track to be near-silent). This is the final setlist, and I hope Harmonix can find it in their hearts to release at least half of these songs in the sure-to-be-brilliant Rock Band 4, or at least as DLC. Thanks.

I looked at your set-list again, and here are some of my comments-

    California Dreaming- yes
    Sweet Caroline- yes
    Hooked On A Feeling- Yes
    Slow Ride- yes
Barracuda- Why replace the other song? They're both as good.
Bat Out Of Hell- yes (I didn't listen to the song last time, but I like it now)
What I Like About You- yes
Cuts Like A Knife- I would only recommend (Everything I Do) I Do It For You, because I don't know this song, and you only have 5 90s songs. But if it's on your DLC, then my bad.
I'm Gonna Be (500 Miles) -yes
    November Rain- yes
    Lady- yes
    Be My Escape- yes

The 90s do look... "small" in comparison to the other decades. I'm not sure if any Rock Band game had that much.

I mean there are some really good 90s songs, like Iris, Santeria, Albequerque, etc. (Those were from the top of my head). I don't know why I didn't comment on this before.
