If I were to make Rock Band 4

Please spare me your painful criticism, I have worked hard on this to balance out the decades and styles etc. Just tell me the songs you like and maybe the ones you don't. If you're gonna spam me about how it's laid out gtfo because it doesn't matter. I like to think that Rock Band encourages you to relive the classic songs but also to discover new songs and see other people's preferences, (so I included links for all the songs in case not everyone knows all of them) and that's what I've aimed to do with this so this isn't like a dream setlist (Because that would be an all weezer soundtrack :P) but a realistic look at what I would like to be in RB4.

I like this setlist, my only issue is only 2 metal songs, and a third which could be called metal, you do have good choices by those three bands(Dream Theater, Nightwish, and Korn) though.

I really like it, but its kind of overflowing with pop hits, they aren't bad pop hits, but there's too many of them

Really nicely varied through mainstream rock, but if Harmonix made this setlist, there would definitely be some deeper cuts.

Could stand to lose the Billy Ray Cyrus, Train, & Men at Work songs. Other than that, nicely varied, some songs I'd love to play, & a pretty good setlist overall.

Good variety of songs. Great selection. I would like to see a bit more of a metal influence in there though IMO, but other than that I would totally buy the game if it was made.

He had an Opeth song in the list too. :p

If I were to tweak said list, I'd probably go with a different Jamiroquai song ("Canned Heat" or "Feels Just Like It Should"); go with a different Fionna Apple song ("Fast As You Can" or "Limp"); and add a few more Metal songs on this list.

Perhaps some Bathory; Enlsaved; Amorphis; and Bal Sagoth for starters.

    It looks good.

Although I can't gather why everyone puts Knights of Cydonia in their setlists. It's repetitive and annoying. Mostly the last couple of minutes, although it would probably be less painful on a non-guitar instrument.

But other than that, looks quite decent. Maybe a bit light on metal, but that's life.

(I also hate the Train song, but that's because the radio station at work played it EVERY FREAKING 15 MINUTES! I think it'd be a good choice for a game though).

I also respect that you didn't include any of the bands (namely Zeppelin) that we're apparently never going to see. Most setlists hopefully include them, and I feel it just detracts from the realism. But who know, we might see some of those bands / see them again.

I didn't see that or the Porcupine Tree song, every criticism I had is gone, I would have bought it before, but now no issues.

I'm afraid you would be wrong with that assumption, I feel that is by far the worst Muse song as far as playability is concerned.

Not nearly enough metal imo , I'd be pretty pissed if RB4 only had like 3 metal songs

(I saw Nightwish , Dream Theater , and Opeth) and not even the best of song choice on them either :/

Wellp , thats my constructive criticism

The Jamiroquai song was one that was a little difficult to pick actually because he has loads of good songs. I thought I'd go with the one where if someone asked you who he was for whatever reason you would most likely say virtual insanity. Fonna Apple was actually my brother's choice and I needed it to balance the nineties with the other decades :)
