Hello everyone. I have come up with 30 songs to put in the game. And you may be asking yourself, "Why is this man so handsome, and intelligent?" and the answer to that question is, I'm not. But the real question you're probably asking is, "Why only 30 songs?" And I'll answer that, in song.

Well, I can't really answer things in song, but, this is a growing setlist. I will be adding five songs every day, so I can get comments, variety, and other things. I'll stop at 100, so that'll be...2 weeks of me posting. So here is the first day of my growing setlist:

A few songs I can think of I'd like to see.

Zac Brown Band - "Who Knows" - Southern Rock - 2010's
Merle Haggard - "Honky Tonk Night Time Man" - Traditional Country - 1970's
Iron Horse - "To Live is to Die" - Bluegrass - 2000's
The Outlaws - "(Ghost) Riders in the Sky" - Southern Rock - 1970's
Hank Williams Sr. - "Lovesick Blues" - Traditional Country - 1940's
    Iron Horse - "Frantic" - Bluegrass - 2000's

I mostly like Country/Bluegrass, though I like Rock/Metal and a lot more genres.

Oh...I didn't check blink-182 DLC, mainly because I only thought "All the Small Things" was on there.

Five new songs are up, inbolded! Check them out!

These are the songs I would buy it for (even though it's not done yet):

    The Beatles - "Help!" - Classic Rock - 1960's
Don McLean - "American Pie" - Classic Rock - 1970's
Megadeth - "In My Darkest Hour" - Metal - 1980's
Metallica - "For Whom the Bell Tolls" - Metal - 1980's
Rolling Stones - "Sympathy for the Devil" - Classic Rock - 1960's
Van Halen - "Jump" - Arena Rock -1980's

and some others, but I don't like them too, too much but I'd still like a few of the others.

Also I'd much rather get two different songs by Metallica and Megadeth, because the songs are both pretty slow (from what I remember) and easy to play, at least for For Whom the Bell Tolls because I've played it on GH and also another reason why I wouldn't want For Whom the Bell Tolls is because it's on GH. This is just IMO.

^ agree.. Maybe a cover song or something from Ride the Lightning or Master of Puppets.. I can think of one song from Kill 'Em All that would be fun as hell to play... Jump In The Fire.

Five more songs up, and "For Whom the Bell Tolls" has been changed to "Jump in the Fire".

The only song I know I would like that was added today is the song, Do You Feel Like We Do (Live), but I think it's already DLC if I'm not mistaken. I'll check in a bit to see if what I think is correct or not.

Edit. Yeah it's DLC already, it was recorded in 1976 and not in the 80's, but I'm sure the one the OP was thinking of was in the 80's though. But I don't think IMO it's good to have two of the same song on Rock Band, so I request a change, but that's just my opinion

    Bother...I'll change it...

EDIT. "Do You Feel Like We Do? (Live)" changed to "Escape (The Pina Colada Song)"

Try throwing in a really hardcore impossible song "for fun" like
    - Dragonforce: Soldiers of the Wasteland
    - Behemoth: Chant for Ezkaton 2000

and maybe a couple really easy mellow songs
    - My Chemical Romance: Sing
    - Godsmack: Whatever

    just ideas for ur setlist.

Love how u changed Metallica's song to Jump in the Fire.. i would buy this game for that song alone.

Not bad. I like 18 of the 40 songs, and that would probably be enough for me to buy the game. The list could use a little bit more organizing, but otherwise, thumbs up.

I really like this setlist so far, especially with the inclusion of Soldiers of the Wasteland, that has Dragonforce's longest guitar solo!

I see that you used the Megadeth song I suggested back a while ago, any chance of more of my suggestions being in there?
    A Change of Seasons - Dream Theater - Prog - 90's

I really think it's unrealistic to put a 23 minute song on a disc setlist.

As DLC maybe, but even that is really stretching it...

I know, but Abbey Road Medley on TB:RB was 16 minutes, and A Change of Seasons is a great song that is considered to be one of Dream Theater's best.

And trust me, I have much longer songs that I want

I think it'd be a great idea as DLC, there's a lot of people that want epic songs like these

Even though the songs I'm about to mention aren't as long as Dream Theatre's, here's some long songs I'd like, that I would love as DLC.

    2112 - Rush - 20 something minutes
La Villa Strangiato - Rush - 8 or 9 minutes
Soldiers of the Wasteland - Dragonforce - almost 10 minutes
Rime of the Ancient Mariner - Iron Maiden - 13 something minutes
And Then There Was Silence - Blind Guardian - 14 minutes

    and a few others.

Also, if I'm not mistaken, wasn't there a DT song that was around 40 minutes?

yes, it was Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence, was split into eight parts on the album, but is considered a single song. 42 minutes long. It's a single song on their live album too.

    More songs are up!

And if I ever do DLC for this setlist, or any setlist for that matter, I will have an entire week for long songs (Like, over 10 minutes)

^ Putting a 43-minute song on Rock Band.... idk if i could sit through that.... especially Dream Theater... cuz they're intense while playing and 43 minutes long of intense playing.... Man thats tooooooooooooo much... lol xD

**** as long as we are kicking around ideas how bout throwing in bands like

    -Slayer
    -Rammstein
    -Korn
    -Godsmack
    -Gama Bomb
-Disturbed (theres a couple songs by them thatd still be fun to play)
    -Machine Head
    -Bonded By Blood
    -Testament or Dublin Death Patrol
    -Soundgarden
    -Deftones

just a couple ideas for u for the RB4 growing setlist

New songs are up! I tried to get some more variety today, considering I put John Lennon, Paramore, and Bathory on the setlist in the same day.

EDIT. John Lennon's "Imagine" replaced with Slipknot's "Dead Memories"
