I like it, lots of good songs here. The metal seems to be adequate, which is rare. Outside of there being too much modern music for my taste, there isn't too much wrong here. There's also some nice deep cuts.

    8.5/10

haha. usually i dont see lists rated that high. I'm really into metal and I know good metal, which is something i'm proud of, and many of those "unknown" bands are personal favorites of mine. I knew that there was a lot of modern music, which is understandably a flaw, but it's good to see you like it

I literally have only heard of one song in this whole setlist. Which is Love Gun.
    I don't even like it very much... ;_;

    So I can't really judge~
But there's no Paramore, so yeah :(

seriously, look up these songs. Last of the Wilds by Nightwish is my all time favorite song. It doesn't make use of vocals, which are a highlight of Nightwish's music, but the song is incredible

Lots of good songs here. A lot of well-known songs, along with some little-known treasures. I don't know how Cipher-Peon's never heard of U2's song

Great setlist, though a little lacking in challenge, which is something I love in some setlists.

    9/10.

lacking in challenge? or lacking in well-known challenges?

just to name a few, Machine Messiah would be insane, The Mudvayne song would be a bassists greatest dream (or worst nightmare depending on how you look at it), Captain Morgan's Revenge would be epic on the keys, Last of the Wilds would eargasm the hell out of the guitarist, Turn the Page would be crazy on vocals, and Set Your Controls would be crazy on all instruments.

Admittingly, most of the big challenges have a big prog influence, but that's not necessarily a bad thing

Holy crap, how did this get an 8 for balance? Do you know how much metal i put in there? Seriously, do you know how much metal I put in there?

Theres AT LEAST 25 metal songs in this list. probably much more

Considering how many metal songs we have on Rock Band now, those figures would be about normal.

Eh, you're right, "known challenge" fits what it's lacking.

I've never heard of Machine Messiah, and I'm big on little-known bands/songs. But yeah, that's a challenge.

At this point I'm pretty sure people are just copying Albuquerque from other setlists without thinking about how well it would work in the game, or that there are other Weird Al songs with keyboards, less repetitive bass, more pitched vocals (a lot of people hate talkies), and aren't 12 minutes long.

I put Albuquerque in based on my experience seeing Weird Al live. I know that the majority of the song would be extremely repetitive, but the vocals would be incredibly fun

You say that like Weird Al has zero other interesting songs to sing.

    This.

Give Hardware Store a listen. I dare you to sing along during the bridge.

Agree on the Weird Al, Albuquerque would be pretty painful for non-Weird Al fans. Hardware Store, on the other hand, would probably prove the toughest Vocals song ever on Rock Band, at least on Harmonies.

Ok, Albuquerque may not be the best Weird Al song for rock band. I just remember seeing Weird Al do Albuquerque as an encore at his show, extending the song by over 5 minutes, and it was epic

Although I am kind of impressed with myself to see that the only song causing debate is the Weird Al song
