well, this week broken bones gets the nod, followed closely by valleys as the best on the 360 side

on PS3's side, JoCo is decent, but I didn't enjoy his new album as much as his others, so PM5K gets the crown from me there.

Really dull PS3 week (except the Joco tracks of course, love him)
Powermans tracks are a hit and miss for me, and amberians stuff just doesn't do anything for me.
(This is why you cannot tell people we get 5 rbn tracks with weekly, because most people won't have no interest in)
I'll still get them because I love quite a few that RBN brings and want to see it keep going for years to come. and I'm a dlc whore.
*Off to go listen to the powerman tracks*

The fact that you do or don't like the RBN songs has nothing to do with the fact that you DO get 5 RBN songs weekly.

I know I sound like a broken record when it comes to Time Bomb, but IGNORE THE GUITAR TIER. It's tier 3 out of 6, but really deserves to be final tier. That solo is really really intense. Also a great deal of fun.

I'm interested in the PM5K tracks and the JoCo tracks for the PS3. Looks like a good week for RBN on PS3 to me.

I am in love with Toccata and Fugue in D Minor (Bach). I may get it, even if I don't have a keyboard.

Will get "Toccata and Fugue" for sure.

Will get the Anarchy Club track if it has keys.

I hope Magnet's classical track and the AC track'll make it to the PS3.

In the meantime, always happy with more AD, so I'll be picking Talisman up for sure.
  • Cipher_PeonCipher_Peon I don't get it at all

Listened to all of the songs in the 360 side of things.
It seems like this week is full of "this song would be great EXCEPT FOR THE SINGER" moments. Mercy House, Seven Day Sonnet, Close Your Eyes... Just wow :p
Darn vocalists who aren't that good!

Yeah, there's a lot of songs like that on RBN. I've lost count of the times when I've really liked a song until the singer started.

Hold up, guys. So this rendition of Toccata and Fugue in D Minor was made by Magnet?

Meaning they (I'm not sure which, you guys can tell me) played this song in real life?
Meaning they should essentially be able to play the Expert Pro Keys chart off the bat?
    And yet they played Medium?

I don't know what to say.

There's your logical step too far.

Magnet simply didn't want to discourage you by FC'ing it on expert pro right away. He's a good sport like that.

He's got to be quick now that it's officially released, or Sycocoaster will nab it from under his nose.

I don't know if we're getting the full album, but we're definitely getting a lot more Anarchy Club from throughout their career (and the material from their new album coming out later this year).

Riddle Me This will be the next one from us, and we've got three more tracks lined up after that. And that's not counting what Rock Gamer is working on from them :D

So there will be no lack of Anarchy Club in 2012 and beyond!

    Yes, I'm kidding.

I hate to break this to you, but MIDI sequencers, drum machines, arpeggiators, quantizers, and auto-tuners are very common in the music industry nowadays.

I hope people will give "Our Time" by The Buffalo Joe Band a chance and enjoy it. There's plenty more to come from the Buffaloes, and many of their songs are quite different from each other, so there should be a great variety. :)

I didn't notice a new classical track. Nuts... spent all of my MSP until next paycheck.

So... next weekend, I'll be purchasing Toccata and Fugue in D Minor.

Time Bomb was the best, the rest kind of sucked for me (sorry Coulton's new stuff just isn't as good as the old :\)
