Rock Band 4 - Marketplace Tracking - Official Update Thread

edited January 2016 in Announcements
Hey everyone!

So, let's be real for a second. While the team is hard at work bringing all legacy exports forward into Rock Band 4, we've taken a step away from legacy DLC to focus on getting that content out as soon as possible. That being said, we are still here, reading your comments in the "Rock Band 4 - Marketplace Tracking - Official Discussion Thread" Original Thread, and looking into opportunities to provide updates in a clear and digestible way to you, our community.

There will be two changes that take place in how we'll be tracking issues with the Marketplace:
  1. This newly created thread (the one you're reading right now!) will be your one-stop shop for all new updates to the Rock Band 4 - Marketplace Tracking excel sheet, only it won't be an excel sheet anymore. We're officially moving over to Google Sheets, so that content within this sheet is updated in live time, and folks can have access to this from any browser (instead of downloading that monster of a file).
  2. The old "RB4 Marketplace Issue Tracking" thread, seen here, will be YOUR thread to continue notifying us about any known issues in the Marketplace that you experience. It is also now renamed the "Rock Band 4 - Marketplace Tracking - Official Discussion Thread". The conversation will stay open, and we'll continue to monitor that thread and work with you to update the Google Sheet, as we have been doing since the launch of the game. We’ll also edit the original post by HMXJohnlok to reflect these changes, so you can get the same information in both places!

The following is the new Google Sheet link for tracking issues in the Marketplace:

For the latest information on Marketplace updates, please see this Google Sheet.

When using this Google Sheet, keep in mind that you CAN use the "Sort" function found under the "Data" section of the sheet's customization options. Also keep in mind that you CANNOT edit this document yourself. Harmonix will be solely responsible for adding to and editing this sheet. If you have an issue that is not found in this document, or you believe to be outdated, please read below for how to best report your issue.

Please report any issues with the Marketplace on the Rock Band 4 - Marketplace Tracking - Official Discussion Thread. When reporting problems with your DLC, please include:

  1. Platform = Xbox One, or PlayStation 4
    • Please include your region for PlayStation 4 users - SCEA (NA) or SCEE (EU).
  2. Whether you’re in the console marketplace (Xbox Live Marketplace or PlayStation Network Store) or the Rock Band in-game Music Store.
  3. If you newly purchased the content (i.e. bought the Rock Band 4 version) or had previously purchased it (i.e. the Rock Band 3 or earlier versions)
  4. What specific song, pack, or album you are having an issue with. Please be as detailed as possible with this information.
  5. The issue you are experiencing. Please be as detailed as possible with this information.

Having those details will help us quickly identify the root cause as we work with our team, and with Microsoft and Sony on a solution.

Thanks again for everyone's support getting these issues tracked and addressed as soon as possible. If you have any other Rock Band 4 support questions or issues, please refer to our Rock Band 4 Knowledgebase, seen here: If you don't find what you're looking for there, send us a message to our Support Portal using this form:

  • Update on 1/29/2016:

Hey everyone! We've been able to add a few more tabs to the Marketplace Tracking Sheet. You can now view the "Believed Fixed SCEA Entitlements" and the "SCEA Investigating Entitlements" through the link above. For PlayStation 4 users in the North American region, please refer to these sheets for further information on Rock Band 4 content.
  • Update on 3/10/2016:

    Hey gang,

There is one minor update for Sony users in regards to the Bonnaroo Pack 01: We've determined with our partners at Sony that this issue could be related to sub accounts that do not have sufficient funds in their respective master account. If you see this content as "Unavailable" or are receiving error code WC-40355-7, please contact Sony Customer Support for further assistance.

Earlier this week, the Community team posted a blog post about the state of exports. TL;DR: We are revisiting internal processes with our first-party partners to ensure that our schedule to bring forward any legacy entitled content is consistent and reliable, so that we can bring this content to you on a regular basis without promising and/or breaking estimated delivery dates. That being said, we will no longer message target dates for when content is expected to be available. For more information, please read our blog post.
  • Update on 5/27/2016:

    Update on 7/15/2016:

    Hello rockers!

Today, we've made a big overhaul to the existing tracker sheet in terms of organization. Here are some things that have changed:
    • First off, We've added a whole bunch of delisted content to each entitlement sheet by platform. This is for more community visibility - these are a series of known tracks that are currently unsupported in the game, and will have their statuses changed once more progress is made.
    • Secondly, we're deleting a bunch of single song offers located on the SCEA and SCEE entitlement sheets. This is because a bunch of these offers should be completely functional at this time. That means that the entitlement:
      • Is cross-buy compatible (meaning it can be downloaded on both PS3 and PS4)
      • Has the correct price associated with it
      • Is downloadable to your console at this time.
If this is NOT the case for folks (as in, you don't see a song up on the tracker that you're experiencing issues with), please submit a ticket to our Customer Support. By submitting a ticket, we have a track record of any issues with select entitlements, and our team can investigate any reports you send in.

    Until next time!

  • Update on 7/22/2016:

    Hi again!

A couple pieces of content are now available for re-download for SCEA owners. They are:

The content within the Rush 2112 Pack has been re-downloadable for a little while, save for the 20 minute, full-length track itself. That track is now available for re-download, along with the full pack for those who are looking to spend some quality time with their Rock Band kit. :)

SCEE Players: As Josh mentioned on our recent Reddit AMA, we have an update on the progress for your exports and entitlements:

One of Sony Europe’s tools we use to move this process along is awaiting an update/fix. We don’t have an ETA from them on when that will happen, but until we’re able to use that tool again, we can’t make any more progress on exports or other entitled DLC content.

These issues are also affecting other digital products for Sony Europe, including the Rock Band Rivals pre-order, which has also yet to launch for SIEE players. Sorry for the continued problems here, we’ll continue doing everything we can to move this forward, and we’ll let you know when progress is unblocked by Sony.

To folks outside of SIEE areas, SIEA uses very different tools and processes, so Sony America players aren’t affected by these issues, as I'm sure you've noticed.

    Have a great weekend, everyone!

  • Update on 8/23/2016:

    Hello rockers,

The Rock Band Metal Track Pack is now available for re-download on PlayStation 4 in North America. Here's a helpful link for how to re-download this content in Rock Band 4. The Marketplace Tracker has been updated accordingly.

We do not have any further news on Sony European exports or pre-orders for Rock Band Rivals at this time. We are working as diligently as we can to make sure content is available for our European players. The update prior to this one still applies - we are currently blocked by one of Sony Europe's submission tools, which is awaiting an update / fix. We do not have an ETA on this fix. We hope to have more news to provide in the near future; as soon as we receive an update, we'll be sure to post more information that here.
