  • By the end of the month at the latest, it's most likely back to the old numbers.

But hey, SZA's album Control is really good.
  • Early 2018 DLC is supposed to be pretty stellar so... anyone's guess at this point. ;)

"Before I get to the meat of this update, I want to remind you that we’ve got more coming in early 2018. In addition to a super strong DLC schedule (you’ll see!), we’re working on an update designed to add some long-awaited functionality to Online Quickplay. We’re still building it, so there isn’t too much to say right now, but the major takeaway is that we’re getting rid of the constraint where you can only play with console friends and building out some host and join functions that make it much easier to find people to play with – people with similar play styles, DLC song count, and more. Online Quickplay will be getting a major overhaul. We will definitely have more to say about this as our development process progresses, so please stay tuned!"

I'm one song away from purchasing the spotlight pass.. 18 & Life is awesome.. Hooked on a Feeling isn't a favorite, but I'd buy it eventually.. If next weeks spotlight is good - I'll buy the pass.. 10 songs for the price of 8 is worth a bit of a gamble..

I just really hope next weeks’ spotlight is good, cuz I can’t hold out from 18 & Life for too much longer!

    Some random, semi-plausible predictions:

    Jan 4 - Wild singles
Cat Stevens - Wild World (Spotlight Pass)
Against the Current - Running with the Wild Things (RBVR)

    Jan 11 - Modern-ish rock singles
Two Door Cinema Club - What You Know (Spotlight Pass)
    Coldplay - Birds (RBVR)
    Audiodamn! - Lights Out (RBVR)

    Jan 18 - Go-go singles
Wham! - Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go (Spotlight Pass)
The Go-Go's - We Got the Beat (RBVR/RB2 Rewind)
Ron Wasserman - Go Go Power Rangers

    Jan 25 - Hip-hop Pack 01
Young MC - Bust a Move (Spotlight Pass) (Dropmix)
    Childish Gambino - Heartbeat (Dropmix)
A Tribe Called Quest - Scenario (Dropmix)

no I don't really think Power Rangers is possible but after going with a "go-go" theme for the other two, I couldn't not put it there

Just remember, expecting "Super Strong" to mean a quantity increase is just setting yourself up for disappointment. Releasing more than a certain amount of new songs devalues the spotlight pass which of course HMX wouldn't want.
  • I predict a riot.

    I predict a riot.

    Riot 01:
Quiet Riot - "Cum on Feel the Noize"

I considered that, and also Pearl Jam's "Riot Act" album, but after consideration, I stand by my pack.

I'd be disappointed if the next time we saw Quiet Riot in RB didn't include The Wild and the Young.

    Riot - Swords And Tequila

    Best song title ever.
  • Forgot:

    Def Leppard - Run Riot
LA Guns - Showdown (Riot On Sunset)
  • Yngwie - Riot in the Dungeons
    Blue Murder - Riot
  • V8VANTAGEV8VANTAGE Road Warrior

    I predict a riot.

How have we not got this song already? Both the rights holders to the slade version and the quiet riot version got ok'd for a "as made famous by Quiet Riot" for power gig (I think it was). Admittedly that was quite a good cover (even better if they'd pitched up everything half a step).
  • I'd be disappointed if the next time we saw Quiet Riot in RB didn't include The Wild and the Young.

Nah.. I'm a pretty huge hair-metal fan, but as far as I'm concerned, Quiet Riot only ever recorded 3 good songs:

    Bang Your Head
    Cum on Feel the Noise
    Mama Weer All Crazee Now

And you don't like The Wild and the Young? That's absolute madness.

    Twilight Hotel is good, too.
