"Gin and Juice" would be ridiculous. It'd certainly be pretty sparse for guitars but I'm sure that'd be a blast to play with friends.

    Pretty solid list.

Its a good thing that its only 1 taco instead of a taco for each song cause you'd owe me 103 taco's.

You got a few songs in there that I liked, little suprised that your 33 and are neglecting the 80's. Not saying thats a bad thing just thats the era you grew up in and I wouldv'e expected to see more 80's being represented.

    Two absolute favorite bands.
And couldn't think of any better songs to put on there for either of them.
However, I think you owe me an EXTREMELY LARGE taco for putting FCPREMIX on here. >=o
That's the only song anyone knows by them, and the only one that ever gets played anywhere.
I'd say something like Whacko Jacko steals the Elephant Man's Bones would be WAY better.

PS.And Bloodmeat or Sequoia Throne by Protest the Hero would be better too.
But that's just me nitpicking because I like the songs better. =x

Thank you for all of the positive responses. I love RB if for no other reason, because its sparks fresh interest in music and exposes people to music that they may have never listened to before it. (It doesn't hurt hat the game is super fun!!!!)

Like i said in the OP, I knew going in that it would be difficult to pick particular songs from certain artists because most of these artists have a library of songs that would be a blast to play. I did my best to pick songs from said bands that were not only a good representation of who that band was/is, but also songs that would fit well in game format and would be recognizable to fans that may not be extremely familiar with them.

You are right...I should have taken more time to put songs in that represent my generation...I went back and added a few older songs from my youth that influenced me growing up. Thank you for pointing that out.

The Fall Of Troy song choice was exactly for that very reason you suggested. It's funny that you mentioned "Whacko Jacko Steals The Elephant Man's Bones" that is my favorite song by them. I just didnt feel it would translate as well as the single in this format....Same goes for the PTH song. I was trying to use a song that not only represented who PTH are as a group but also was "Too" extreme for first time listeners of the group.(saw them a couple of years ago BTW at a small club show and it is mind blowing how technical they were) My friend and I were drinking some brews with James from The Bled and I offered to buy the PTH guys one and they weren't old enough to drink. hahaha. i was shocked.

Fair enough!!! I have no problem whatsoever buying 1 taco for a child with 132 posts and not one respectful or positive thing to say to anyone. besides, I would bet you 2 tacos that you will find a band that you enjoy other than Primus in the next few years anyway. Someone needs to buy you a taco and I would be happy to. You seem very angry at life.

    1) The word is spelled "definitely"

    2) I never said that there weren't better songs than the ones I posted from the artists. I suggest that you re-read my op

    3) The deal is i would buy you a taco if "There is no songs on the list that you would download" and obviously there are. again....See op.

A couple of other bands for your perusal that would be great DLC, Avenged Sevenfold, especially City of Evil and Godsmack. Would also love to see some Dream Theater. Talk about insanity when it comes to all instruments.

I was meaning to put some older Dream Theater in there. I need to go back and do that. Like a lot of original fans of theirs, I got into them after hearing "Pull Me Under" (Probably on headbangers Ball or something)

Mike Portnoy may be the best drummer alive. lol I will take your tacos and thank you for them!!!

Totally. I'm not really a fan of theirs either. But that song is amazing. It's very powerful. probably the most important song they ever wrote....Scratch that. THE most important song they ever wrote. I'm going to listen to it right now. hahaha

OK, I'm just going to go down the list. I'll admit that I don't know many of the groups listed... so I have work to do. I did want to comment on some of the groups, or more accurately the song selection.

I leave the ones off that I don't like because this isn't the place to argue personal taste, and the ones I don't know will go on my list of groups to check out.

I also added a few of my own...

AC/DC - You Shook Me All Night Long (Back in Black would be an alternate for me)
Anthrax - Caught In A Mosh (DEFINITELY!!)
Cinderella - Shake Me (Would be a blast)
Faster Pussycat - Bathroom Wall (Another good gem)
Iron Maiden - 2 Minutes To Midnight (I'd pick Aces High from Powerslave, but the best song, except for the singer, would be Phantom of the Opera)
Jimmy Eat World - Futures (I would enjoy playing Let Go)
Offspring,The - Bad Habit (gotta be Come Out and Play, just because that would be my wife's choice)
Queen - Fat Bottom Girls (Bohemian Rhapsody anyone?)
Rage Against The Machine - Guerilla Radio (Just listened to this on the way to work... love the Bass line)
Ratt - Round And Round (I've always liked the riff for Lay it Down, but Lack of Communication is my favorite)
Sex Pistols - No Feelings (Problems would be my pref)

This one needed a special comment: Snoop Dogg - Gin And Juice

It would be fun but don't think that it would translate well. Might I suggest Valley of Chrome or (Rock) Superstar by Cypress Hill!

Here are some of my personal preferences to be added:
In This Moment: Beautiful Tragedy or Prayers
Alice Cooper: No More Mr. Nice Guy
Beatles: Ballad of John and Yoko
    BuckCherry: Craxy Bitch
    Danzig: Twist of Cain
    Disturbed: Down with the Sickness
    Doors: L.A. Woman
Elvis Presley: Viva Las Vegas (or ZZ Top version)
    Exodus: Toxic Waltz
    Flight of the Conchords: Robots
Jimi Hendrix: All along the Watchtower
Kid Rock: Somebody's Gotta Feel This
    Kiss: Cold Gin
    Korn: Freak on a Leash
    Linkin Park: Bleed it out
    Marilyn Manson: Mob Scene
    Megadeth: Sweating Bullets
    Misfits: Return of the Fly
    Motorhead: Ace of Spades
NIN: Closer (just because it will never happen)
    Pantera: Cowboys from Hell
Powerman 5000: A is for Apathy
Red Hot Chili Peppers: By the Way
Rob Zombie: Dragula (would prefer Pussy Liquor but it won't happen)
Saliva: Click Click Boom (that one because it is fun)
    Ted: Free for All
    Testament: Practice What You Preach
    Veronicas: Mother Mother
    Velvet Revolver: Sucker Train Blues
    White Stripes: Icky Thump
Wesley Willis: Stop Mulling Over the Mullet
    White Zombie: Super Charger Heaven
ZZ Top: I'm Bad I'm Nationwide

Again, these skew to my taste but I'm sure that there's one or two that people may have not realized.

Thanks for the reply!!!! In response...

Cypress Hill - (Rock Superstar) Would be amazing. I would love to get some hip hop flavor in the game. Not a huge fan at all of the genre but a "Taste" wouldn't hurt =p

BuckCherry: Crazy Bitch Would probably be the most DL'ed song ever but will NEVER happen =(

Danzig: Twist of Cain Was a Glenn Danzig fan by default because I worshipped the Misfits growing up even though he got very strange in his older years. I would also choose this one as well or Snakes Of Christ.

Motorhead: Ace of Spades Should be SHOT for leaving this one off of the list..Going back to add it NOW

Pantera: Cowboys from Hell What a song to debut your career with!!! I mean the first track on the first album.....Talk about "In with a bang"

Testament: Practice What You Preach One of my favorite Metal bands of the late 80's. "The Ballad" would be my choice!!!!

Thanks again for the feedback brother.
