So, when are we going to be blessed with her "Part 2"? Part 1 was a great read and I am looking forward to the next installment.

I would like to know the too. The article was great. All of it is sad but COMPLETELY true (at least in the case of my real band)!

    My favorite part:

Chrissie (my super-talented bassist): "What chord are you playing right before the bridge?"
Me: (pointing at my own hand) "I don’t know, this one."
    Chrissie: "Is that C sharp?"
Me: (pointing at hand) "I don’t know, who cares? It’s THIS one, the one that sounds GOOD when you play it right before the bridge."
    Chrissie: "I think that’s C sharp."
Me: "Okay, I’m gonna call it ‘The Spider’ because that’s a way better name. So we’ll just call it that from now on."
Chrissie: "Um, how about you call it C sharp since that’s what it is."
Me: "I was lying when I said I liked your shoes."

Yeah, the entire post is a great read. I really laughed aloud at what you posted. I liked this part:

"If you’ve read all of this and feel that none of these descriptions fit you, then you might be better off in one of those "musical ensembles" that are all proud of the fact that they aren’t adhering to a traditional notion of what a band is."
