Actually, Paul Simon is around #5 to me. Leonard Cohen is #1. :) I'm ugly again! yay!

Speaking of Tom Waits, I saw a guy working at my local not-so-supermarket wearing a Tom shirt, with a monochrome pic from around *** Rain Dogs era. He gave me a wierd look when I complemented his shirt as in "How does this old ***** know who Tom Waits is?". Which is stupid, because he predates even my musical generation.
    Cohen is 3 for me

I dont have generic taste, my facorite bands are Metallica, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and My Chemical Romance; they're all pretty different.

And im not a huge NB fan, but I like *** Chad Kroeger 'Hero' song.

Nah, I don't have a problem with that... it's a General forum fad today.

What he's doing that's really grating my nerves is that he's going around essentially mocking me by playing a stupid stereotype of me.

And everyone is backing him up there because they're blinded by his "awesome" werewolf thread so they essentially deem him as a messiah of sorts

I like them, despite *** unoriginality, m'self. Rehash a sound I like, and I'll probably like it.

But I don't respect them for their creativity in *** slightest.

EDIT: I hate this ***** ****'s joke. Really bad.
fame =/= good, lol, i hate when people use that as a reason for why a band is good

I like Wolfmother, not amazingly creative, but I like the idea of Zeppelin without all the tedious, musical self-indulgences.

Unrelated to the current conversation, but did anyone else hear the chorus to the self-titled track on "Crack the Skye" and think "Thong Song"?

Hair is important in the world of rock and roll. (ex. Phil Lynott, that guy from A Flock of Seagulls, Brian Setzer, Elvis, Omar Rodriquez-Lopez, Andrew Stockdale, etc.)

It wasn't actually as bad as you think.

My friends was talking about chloroform jokingly, so one of them pretend that he sniff some and got unconscious. Then two other friends of mine pulled him away to "do stuff" with him and they're dragging down the hall. I, joking around as well, rush to grab my friend's legs to prevent him from getting stuff done to, and manage to pull him away the other two people pulling him. I start half way, laughing, and then one of the teachers told me and the friend I was pretendly dragging to the office.

Needless to say, we got in trouble over a joke. :)

I agree, especially the way with we were doing it, we were at no point hurting anyone during the joke. I just joke about it though, because it's ironically funny for me, and because I don't think it's worth too much to whine about.

Edit:Also lucky for the two friends who were dragging him originally didn't get in trouble, rather only two of us than all four.
