  • Ooh, another "new single means we get a pack" kinda thing.

Is it a day that ends in y? :p
  • cements, fact, could

Come on, commit to a level of certainty.
  • Hard Times sounds like a mix of Adventure of a Lifetime and My Type by Saint Motel if anyone wants a reference point.

It sounds a little like The 1975 and Foals. Nice new sound for Paramore.

I think the word you are looking for is "CONFIRMED"

Which on these boards means, "I'm coming to a fantastical and hilarious conclusion that is based on dream logic"!

Paramore's turning into the new Stone Temple Pilots. Constantly changing their sound just to match whatever's trendy and currently making money.

*Remembers the collab EP with Chester Bennington*

Oh wow, you may have something.

Okay so this cements the fact that we could be getting another Paramore pack in the near future.

Why? Because they made an 80's style song?
I think it's because the glasses look like the Harmonix globe if you squint in the right direction.

And by 'right direction' you mean away from the screen, correct? ;)

Whatever "Hard Times" is, I don't believe it's been trendy and making money since Hayley Williams was in diapers.

Tiffany's most recent platinum album was released about two months before Hayley was born.

Paramore: the Rock Band community's favorite pop band.

There's only One Direction it can go in.

Also, Sign of the Times is great.

Dave Matthews Band Pack 02. Make it happen.

Crash Into Me is a beautiful song, 110% honest.

If we're talking S&M songs, you can't forget Depeche Mode's "Master and Servant" !
  • Oh, we did get Sheryl Crow, right then. Still weird it took so long.

Ah geeze. Wrong outerspace/sci-fi franchise for the first week!

I read that as Kinky... I'll admit I spent about 5 minutes laughing.

I was originally going to go with kinky but swapped it out at the last minute. But seriously, look at the lyrics and tell me that's not him describing some of his kinks. Then there's "Rapunzel," the first vocal song off of Before These Crowded Streets, and its entire first verse is about...uh...giving and receiving. (nice)

Not to say that Crash Into Me isn't beautiful--it's absolutely beautiful, and the instrumentation is incredibly floaty and dreamy and fantastic. It's just that the lyrics, as delivered by Dave Matthews with that sort of instrumentation, is like reading the dirtiest Penthouse Forum letter in the history of the Internet, but also it's written in the airiest cursive, with sparkles and glitter scattered delicately across the page.
  • Things you didn't know about Dave Matthews :p

I loled at your Cinco de Mayo week.

I've been waiting for Mother since Rock Band launched. I loved that in Guitar Hero II. We know it has masters since it was in GH: Smash Hits.
  • Cinco de Mayo:
    Santana - Corazón Espinado
    Molotov - Gimme the Power

    HMX pls.

I doubt we're going to get a whole month with no Rewinds from other Rock Band games, or let alone, if Harmonix ever does decide to do it, a Cinco de Mayo week with no songs from acts from Latin-speaking countries.

But I would love to see some more Latin Rock songs for Cinco de Mayo week, if Harmonix wants to do so.

(It wasn't an actual prediction, it was a joke. The only part of it I could see actually happening is The Mother We Share on Mother's Day week).

Not only Latín, it's gotta be mexican music or it's cheating!
  • We do need more Santana...
