My wife's nephew was visiting, and after looking through my impressive collection of discs he decided that he most wanted to try out "Tony Hawk Shred" (PS3). Great idea, kid. I've always been a sucker for games with dedicated plastic peripherals. There were still batteries in the controller, which is a terrible idea, but they were just dead (not leaking). I put in fresh ones, and the LEDs on the side all lit up, and I quickly realized that I needed to find the dongle. It only took 15 minutes, sweet! But the board wouldn't light up again, no matter what I did.
Disappointing enough to look into buying a replacement board? Yes!
Disappointing enough to actually order one? No. I hear they never worked great [though better than the board for the original game, "Ride"], they might just all be broken by now, after 7 years, even the barely-used ones (like mine).
tl;dr I wish I had spent another hour playing "Tony Hawk Shred" back in 2011 when I bought it super-cheap on clearance, because it was kinda fun and now I'll never get to try it out ever again.0
In 2005, they were ranked 73rd in Rolling Stone's list of "The Greatest Artists of All Time".
It's certainly possible to hate them (people do!) or to listen to a lot of music your whole life and barely get to know them (tricky, but not impossible!), but to claim they aren't an all-time legendary band is to be in denial.0
Disagree = "I am angry in ways that I cannot verbalize"
[just waiting to see who the VERY ANGRY person would be who was first to disagree with this post]
Excited to see what's in the road map, even more excited to see that there IS a roadmap for Rock Band, everything seems to be going well.5
THIS IS THE WORLD YOU ALL WANTED I HOPE YOU ARE HAPPY
