I always list the same pack when talking Van Halen, but these six would probably satisfy me for (DLR-era) VH.
So This Is Love?
You Really Got Me
My local radio station played all of those a lot on Saturday nights (they have a classic rock block from 4-12 on Saturdays). I see Mean Street mentioned here a lot but our radio station never played it, so I don't have any sentimental attachment to it. Upon hearing it though, I'll acknowledge that it would be a good fit for the game.1
So was the "next to the tallest buildings" clue pointing to Charlie Puth? He sang on "See You Again", ft. Wiz Khalifa, so while we were guessing songs that featured Wiz himself, we should have been looking to those who were next to him.
Is it weird I'd rather have Cool for the Summer from Demi instead?Agreed.
Ugh, would have much preferred to have Believer instead of Thunder...Agreed.
For sure. "Believer", "Demons", and then either "It's Time" or even "I'm So Sorry" as a deep-cut pick would make for a good pack.
Ugh, would have much preferred to have Believer instead of Thunder...Really though Imagine Dragons could easily get a 3 pack still.3
Four new songs is good. Not all favourites of mine, but I'll buy it anyways. "Feel It Still" is nice to have. I'm sure people will be upset with more pop, but some of these are alright.
The weird thing is, when we got the "call" clue, I was gonna guess Charlie Puth's "One Call Away" but figured that was unlikely, and if we got Charlie Puth it would be "Attention" instead. I was right.4
I remember when, a few days before they were pulled, the Spinal Tap packs were available for $1 each. I didn't pull the trigger, probably for some stupid reason like I was too lazy to punch in my credit card info, or I didn't think I'd get much play out of Rock Band 3 anymore. To this day, they're some of the only RB packs I don't own. Regrets.1
I mean, if we're gonna get one last Queen pack...
