• Re: DLC Discussion Thread: '90ish

Hip hop is severely underrepresented in RB. I get that a lot of it would have weak charts, but it isn't like we don't already have songs that fit that characteristic.
The DropMix songs would have rather fun charts I think, especially Bust a Move.
Agree on Bust A Move. It wouldn't matter to me if the chart wasn't particularly fun on guitar anyway. I just want more hip hop in RB. What other hip hop songs are in DropMix?
    Ms. Jackson- OutKast
Good Vibrations- Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch
    Run-DMC - "It's Tricky"
    Len - "Steal My Sunshine"
    Salt-n-Pepa - "Push It"
Technotronic - "Pump Up the Jam"

    Maybe there's others?
Is "Steal My Sunshine" by Len really considered hip hop? This is news to me.
At that point you might as well call "Bring Me to Life" hip-hop for having that rap-rock verse.

Outside by Staind wasn’t in whichever challenge the week it came out because I remember it came shortly after the every song challenge, and for a couple of weeks, Outside was literally the only song in the Rock Band library that had never been a weekly challenge.

I guess you could say it was on the outside, it was looking in.

James Joyce's infamous letters to Nora Barnacle contain the memorable phrase "arse full of farts," which has forever altered the way I listen to the Coldplay song "Sky Full of Stars."

The "hint" was just some guy saying "The DLC next week will make some noise," the joke being that it was so meaningless that it would be true about any DLC that could have been released, but I guess some people thought it was a real hint?

Hint #1: It makes noise. :p
Hint #2: It gets its hard drive scratched by The Beastie Boys.
